Well, just in case it IS online only (which appears to be the situation, according to Best Buy's website), I just ordered it. Free shipping, too!

I do hate the idea of ordering the figure sight unseen, but hopefully there won't be any major paint fuck-ups.

This really should be mainline figure, they should make exclusives or limited figures out of the shelf warmers.

1. They can't exactly predict all the figures that'll be shelfwarmers ahead of time.

2. As annoying as exclusives are and as much as I don't really like when things are exclusive, making the exclusives low-demand characters kinda defeats the point.

The SHF figures are WAY smaller. I don't have the SHF Boba...but I do have the Jango, and he's a full head shorter than Paz.

Got the figure in the mail today. It's great...except for the helmet, has a broken antenna, so I need to see if I can exchange it or if I have to return it and order another one.

This is why I hate ordering toys online without being able to see them in-hand first.

*EDIT* Since it was online only, I had to return the figure at my local Best Buy, then re-order it from the website. So annoying.

Good news. Best Buy never delivered on their replacement for my defective figure, so they just refunded me. And there was no way that I was paying ebay prices for this guy, as awesome as he is. So I'm glad to hear that he's getting a wider release and can be purchased once again for a reasonable amount.

Can't wait to see the scalpers crying about this announcement. No one's happier than I am that their entire investment has been devalued overnight.

Question: Of the three places listed to pre-order this, which one would you guys recommend? Only dealt with BBTS once a while back and I've never ordered from the other two before.

I've not had problems from any of the three. BBTS is usually the quickest to get my orders in pre-orders. EE items, when in stock, get to me super fast but pre-orders tend to be a little slower to arrive. I've only done some pre-orders from Dorkside, and didn't have any issues.

I really like the folks at Dorkside and they are in my hometown so I try to use them as often as possible. However, I find BBTS can get products faster.

I relish these moments when any company gets to make scalpers whine about devaluing the original items.

I've had good experiences with pre-ordering from both BBTS and Dorkside, I've never had issues ordering available items at EE but the few times I've pre-ordered through them it always fell through and became a back-order while other sites had those items in stock.

Wasn't that guy the eBay "seller" who claimed he's a collector but was just a scalper making lame justifications that no one defended him?
