Really? Becuase it seems like his fingers are too small to fit through the hole.

Nice figure. Kraven's Last Hunt is still one of my all-time favorite Spider-Man stories.

"Cons
Should have used the Black Cats feet

The figure itself has a great head sculpt but could have used the Black Cats feet to make it more comic accurate."

Wait, whaaa??? I hope you aren't using uber-sexy fan art as reference.
MISTY = FLATS!!!

Not really and the cover you pointed out is stylized. It has the heals it's just not in a classic style.

Ummmm, there's a BIG difference between the heel of a combat boot and the six inch heels of the Marvel Legend Black Cat figure. I could see the ML Storm's wedge being an alternative, but NEVER Felicia's gogo heels.

I can pull from Marvel all day long with the six inch heels, it just looks better. Nobody is saying you can't like the boring flat bottoms, but for me it's heals or at least boots with a heal.

Likewise, I could do the same with the flat combat heel. Apparently, Misty is a character that has a malleable costume that changes with the artist.

Nothing is wrong with having an opinion, but stating that the Misty Legends figure's feet are a "con" and could have been more accurate with Black Cat heels is kinda silly. As I stated above, Misty's costume changes with the artist, so both flats or heels are equally accurate to the character.

Great pics! Still have not seen this wave hit, but I am looking forward to it. The issue with Misty's boots could be fixed if Marvel would have a house style guide like DC had forever with Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez.

Next up is Ghost Rider awesome figure, but I'm super salty that it did not come with a chain weapon.

Agreed on that headsculpt. Wow! The hinged jaw is a must with skeleton faces IMO and ML delivered.
The lack of the chain is a huge mistep. My biggest complaint however is the lack of a motorcycle. I know things have changed with Marvel Legends but no motorcycle is a let down. This is the first ML Ghost Rider(I believe)to not have his ride. It really takes away from the character IMO.

Second GR without the motorcycle, first 1 was with Terrax wave. This morning i was thinking will we even have a Charles Xavier with a wheel chair i know they can do it with the current packaging with a BAF piece maybe, also he'll be sitting down, so they can make one....

Superior Venom. Mistakes were made but it's still a solid figure.

I hated the Superior Venom and pretty much anyone I know who reads the comics agrees. It's just a kinda dumb take on the symbiote (though not nearly as dumb as the newest Venom) and lasted very briefly. This is definitely the figure of the wave that is not selling in my area, it may be because nobody really liked this idea to begin with or because every figure I've seen has had poor paint apps.

I didn't mind the Superior Venom arc...I was actually disappointed that it was such a short run because I really don't care much for "Flash" Venom (as either a SHIELD agent or a space knight.) I realize that characters and motivations change, but the retcon job that Marvel did to Venom was one of the most awful of the last few years, and in my honest opinion, second only to the the awful long lost sister soap opera that was Angela. (Even though the symbiotes being an "honorable and proud race...", a complete 180 degree spin from what we have seen from the last 20 years or so of symbiotes, who up to that point were far from honorable, and were mostly creatures who drove their hosts mad and were full of murderous intent was pretty bad, the Angela retcon was far worse.)

That said, a fan service figure for sure, but Superior Venom was actually one of my favorite figures in the new wave (second only to Ghost Rider, who was incredible.) I liked the use of the pizza Spidey buck, and I really dug the monster feet and tendrils. I also like the smaller proportions in comparison to the heavily stylized comic version, and the sculpt on that nasty mouth of teeth...very creepy.

Despite being shaped for specific ports, the tendrils are soft enough that you can place them in whatever space you want with a little finangling. They actually plug in and stay on a little better when you do.

Great photos!

I agree those were both horrible retcons. They castrated Venom (and all symbiotes really) and made it so that it might as well NOT have been Angela they introduced after AoU. Also both of these managed to lower the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Angela reveal wasn't even in that book, I'll say it again GotG volume 3 was pretty bad overall. Bendis was a very poor follow-up to DnA. Eddie Brock and MacGargan will always be the better Venoms.
