Neca's customer service has been pretty spot on- email them about the problem for his leg and see if they can replace it for you

I know why NECA went for this license... but the characters look so... dull... and lifeless. I would have rather them tap into the classic characters from the original film instead of these. I don't see these selling well... and that may kill the line. The originals may be a different story though.

They'd be all over the originals if they could secure the license for it. They are trying, though.

I understand your point, but the 3 men are all pretty well known actors. Some of which (Leto and Gosling) haven't really been captured like this in figure form. That alone may be what drives sales.

I already returned it back to TRU for a replacement, the new figure's leg is fine.

It's true that the license isn't a great choice. An original Deckard would have made sense, but none of these are too attention grabbing. The movie was more of a prestige drama than a scifi romp. I enjoyed the movie and the figures are well executed, but ultimately I think we will see these sit on shelves for a long time.

At this rate I'm sure we'll only get these 2 waves, and I consider myself lucky to have gotten any at all. Film is a domestic bomb, I'm seeing negative reviews now stating it's "boring" and even "sexist", so unless this film gets nominated/wins a bunch of Oscars, doubtful we'll be getting much more merch from this, or even the original. Which is a bummer, I really love the original and the sequel and what NECA has done so far.

According to Box Office Mojo, BR-2049 has just now made back its supposed production budget ($150 mil). It looks like it could manage a modest profit for all the multiple production companies that were involved in getting it made.

The rest of October is a slow month in movie releases -- nothing of note until Justice League next month. So BR-2049 may benefit over the rest of this month. Also, it hasn't opened in China and Japan yet. China could help it bring it over $200 mil worldwide.

Will BR-2049 be a smashing success? No. But it won't be a flop after all the numbers come in.

So I do think there's a possibility of a Wave 3 -- the two should be Sapper and, most definitely, Joi. I would imagine that Joi is the figure that most BR-2049 fans wanted immediately.

I'm thinking early 2018 could be Wave 3, after the movie is released online and on Blu-ray.

I would certainly buy any other figures from BR2049 they put out.

A 3rd wave will likely depend on how well the 1st and 2nd series sells. Their responses have been "We'll see" when asked about figures beyond wave 2.

Okay that looks great I can see a ton of people using that head sculpt of Jared Leto's Wallace figure as customs even casting the head too and use it for a ton of stuff.
