That's...an odd choice for a license. But if they scale with NECA/DCC I would probably cherry pick. A Basic Instinct Sharon Stone could possibly be a good base for a Mercy Graves custom, or just another civilian. And I guess Michael Douglas could be a good GCPD detective.

My guess is just a straight up statue of "the" Basic Instinct scene. And I doubt it's the "flash" moment. It's probably just her sitting in the chair.

Wow. They really nailed her likeness. I remember seeing this movie in the theaters. When I got back to my dorm I told my roommate, "You gotta go see this movie." I was a big fan.

I totally get it. That scene was like the Farrah Fawcett nipple poster for the moment in time when it hit. The crotch shot was the big thing people were commenting on about Basic Instinct when it came out. It was kind of a ballsy move for a mainstream flick and it really made Sharon Stone a sex symbol and raised her status to a genuine star, although she probably would have done that part on her own eventually anyway.

I'm a Verhoeven fan, but "sexy thriller" is not really a genre I'm into. I always thought it was an okay flick for what it was. Verhoeven does malicious wrongheaded sleaze well so it's really no letdown in that regard.
