So a 1/6 scale Wally standing at 13.5 inches tall means he’s 6 foot 9 in real terms- or, even more concerning- the 1/12 figure coming I at 8 inches means he’s actually 8 foot tall...

Not only will these not fit in whatsoever with anything else in their supposed listed scales, it also makes you feel pretty dumb for ever struggling to find the 8 foot tall guy wearing a bright, striped jumper in a crowd.

If you looks like I used the measurement that included the stand for the 1/12 Wally (they had two listed). The 1/12 scale figure is a little over 7" tall.

I was pleased with their Ghostbusters and Inspector Gadget figures so I'd at least get the 1/12 scale Waldo.

Which reminds me, is Blitzway ever going to release their 1/12 scale Ghostbuster figures? They showed them off the same time as their 1/6 stuff and it doesn't seem like those will ever release.

Those got cancelled almost immediately after being shown in 2016 I believe.

Is it wrong I want him to put on my display shelf in the middle of my other figures just to make jokes as a conversation piece?

I wanted their Inspector Gadget figures, but Penny and Brain not having any articulation was a deal breaker.

It's interesting, I think the joints on the 1/12 version look a little rough for the price. They both look pretty good overall though.

I saw the pictures and said “WOW, I gotta have that!”

Then I saw the prices and said “WOW, I can’t afford that.”

I never realized Waldo is originally Wally in England.

So, they're doing a 1/6, that's sweet.

Wish they'd do a 1/6 of their Gadget.

Loved the books, toy is a much harder sell for me... what are people supposed to do? Randomly place him in their collection and have friends/family try to find him? Lol

Three Huzzahs to Blitzway for making a toy I never remotely imagined I’d see. Gives me hope one day someone will make a 1/6 scale seamless “The Tick” cartoon/comics figure.

Little nervous about ankle articulation, 7 inch kind of a bummer, whoof that price for something that looks like a $25 dollar figure construction....

That said, I'm really liking this flashback. I'm 92% sure Ill get the DX version. I just doubt there will be anything like this ever any better. Maybe in hand the quality will feel worth the high price too. IDK.

It looks like Bluefin is going to distribute in the US, so we may see other retailers get it soon. But you can order direct from Bluefin right now.

Edit:
And BBTS has it up now

Yeah exactly, and probably my only big pull to obtain...just have him standing in the middle of a sea of figures or randomly pop him in the background for some photoshoots of figures...but I'd probably pass.

Its'a shame that Blitzway stuff rarely gets over-stocked so I could get this on a discount somewhere. I'm definitely pleased with my Inspector Gadget. But for Wally/Waldo, I know some of my younger siblings would probably love this since they enjoyed the 90s cartoon, I'm sure that's the main target consumer.
