These are too small to fit with the NECA ones, right?

Yes. And much too crappy, too.

I mean, cool, Loyal Subjects are throwing dollars at TMNT figures and sets, but they're soooo rubbery and cheap. Raph's sais are like limp noodles.

If there were no NECA line, sure. Maybe... but there's a NECA line.
Not only previously released, but I'm confident they're going to revisit these characters in the current Mirage line.

Also... weird that Mirage Turtles would come with pizza. That wasn't really a thing in the comics.

I really hate the facesculpts on these BST-AXN figures... I mean the faces on the humanoid figures like Buffy or Cowboy Bebop are so ugly in a cheap anime looking sort of way... I guess the Turtles ones are good enough though for the price.

If I was in charge of an action figure line though I would use whatever budget I had to make the best facesculpt possible and cheap out on everything else.

These are a good deal, price wise, but coloring toon turtles like the comics just doesn’t work. The early Eastman Laird comics had squat, powerfully built, angular turtles. Not soft, rounded kid friendly cuddly turtles. The first Playmates figures actually had a better blend of cartoon and comics than these.

Neca has redesigns of the original mirage turtles in the works, but I dunno when they plan on showing them.
