Hello,
my name is ofir, im from israel.
i found in a small toy's shop in a really far and little town here in israel, a stock of 15 brand new PICES of "CADAVER THE CLOWN" 2007.
they still with their both company tickets.
i know nothing on toys, but that clown figure toke my attention, and i had to buy one, i checked it on EBAY, and i saw that asking for that figure from 150$ to 300$ if it in a new condition.
the owner of the shop don't really know what he have there, and for him is just a toy that he got stuck with.
he selling it for 13$ for a pice.

my question is, how can i know that it real, even thou that when i compare it to photos that i found on the web it look similar.
seconde, it really that rare and collectible?
third, what do you think, should i buy all the stock that he have as an investment?

i add pic that look like the figure i bought to get the idea of the figure i have.

thanks a lot
ofir

Easiest was to check is for the copyright notice. It should read something like "Mezco 2007". I'm not sure where it's located on the toy. If they still have them in the package, you might be able to turn a tidy profit on them. Loose, you might be able to get some money for it, but it might sit for awhile before someone decides to buy it.

People can ask whatever they want on ebay, it doesn't mean that anyone is buying at that price. I'd check "completed auctions" to see if any have actually sold anywhere near that price. If so, I'd buy them all and try to get a bundle deal from the seller. If he has $15 @ $13 apiece, I'd offer something like $100 for them all. Sell one and you're already into profit mode!

I checked ebay and they are actually selling pretty well. A lowball price of $10, a few sold for around $50, a couple at $150 and a high of $270. I guess it depends on the variation of the doll. Some seem to be worth more than others, but if you can get them for around $10 apiece, I don't think there is any way you could lose out on the deal. I say "GO GETTEM!"
