I'm not into the Japanese style generally, but this is just cool. I'm in.

The manufacturer is japanese, but the style of the Marvel (& Star Wars) sub-line(s) is not.

Anyway, this figure is a must have for me.

Oh, I'm inclined to agree with the others who see a strong Japanese influence. This stylization looks like it came from an episode of Super Sentai.

Anyway, we all agree that it looks GOOD!

There is absolutetly no stylization involved with this figure though, that's his new costume in the Civil War movie.

And yeah, others have said that this looks like a Sentai dude (Which is wrong, he looks like a Kamen Rider ) but that’s just because he looks like this in the movie. The Ant-Man costume from the first movie looked like a Kamen Rider too. So if there is Japanese Tokusatsu inspiration involved, then Marvel took it and run with it for the movie, Tamashii Bandai didn’t come up with his design.

They have stylized lines like Movie Realization, but Figuarts are always replicas of what the character actually looks like on screen. They get models and stuff from Marvel, this figure looks exactly like it's supposed to.

Looks great; I wonder why he's priced slightly more than Figuarts ANH Luke and coming with seemingly less accessories and not requiring the 3D printing faces? He also (according to the pics) looks to only comes with 2 sets of hands, completely open palms and fists.

He's the same price as Iron Man and Cap though, that's probably why. But yes, not much in terms of accessories for this guy.

Looks good, but they couldn't have done something more interesting with the shrunken version? How about a dynamic pose, and some ants.

Was kind of disappointed by Ant Man, but Black Panther looks good. I don't know if I should preorder the rest of these or wait for Mafex...their Mark 45 Ironman sculpt sold me, I hope they release the rest of the Avengers, Mafex I mean.

This Black Pather figuarts looks fantastic, but missing the T'challa extra head coming with the ML version. I'm still not sure which one I'll get...

No lie, I kind of prefer the Marvel Legends version. The lack of claws and alternate unmasked head was kind of disappointing. Something about the sculpt throws me off.

Man, first Antman, now Black Panther...what's going on Bandai?!

I like this figure. Yea the sculpt is jarring from some angles but I think ultimately its the best option next to Hot Toys, which is way to expensive for me ATM. Why are all these figures skipping out on the Boseman head? That should at least be a staple for all of these figures.

I don't college ML, so I'll get this, but yeah, this release and Ant-Man's that basically just give you 2 sets of hands and nothing else leave a lot to be desired.

I think Black Panther looks great! But, I'm used to lots of accessories... I only see 2 sets of hands and the figure. Maybe other accessories would be movie spoilers or don't have photos ready yet? Or is this all we're getting? Cap, Iron Man, Thor... they all came with great accessories.

Kind of underwhelming reveal actually. The lack of accessories, somewhat off proportions, no unmasked head, and the inaccuracy of the sculpt itself (lack of claws, boots are all wrong...) kind of makes this disappointing. At this price point, it should be better than the upcoming Marvel Legends figure, but whether it will be is debatable at this point.
