Why wouldn't there be, exactly? Hasbro got their act together.

- The Marvel Universe line is absolutely fantastic.
- Mighty Muggs are so fun to collect, it's insane.

I'm really hoping marvel takes a a chance and makes a marvel zombie line. Even if it offered as a mail order or convention special. Maybe start putting special offers in with the animated DVD's they make.

Personally iwould love to see them make a next avengers set, and a dark avengers set too.

Another 8 years of hasbro and marvel honestly I think it is a great thing.

No BAF's, so I don't have to get every single figure in a wave or else end up with useless bits of plastic. And when I want the larger one, all I have to do is get that particular Gigantic Battles set.

On to the other comments:

Mighty Muggs - Sure you may not like them. I think they're cute, but I don't collect them myself (I admit I bought MM Soundwave, but only because it's Soundwave).

But they are apparently popular enough that Star Wars MM's are on their 8th wave, Marvel is now up to wave 5 or 6, G.I.Joe and Transformers just came out with their 1st waves and even Indy had a couple of waves. So again, another arguably successful Marvel line from Hasbro.

WATXM - I'm not that big of a fan, but there are others who love the line. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean the line automatically sucks and no one should like them.

W:O - Same as above. Some of the figures I really like, such as the two you mentioned. Others, not so much. But someone else may love the movie version of Deadpool and Sabretooth, and I can't fault them for their opinion.

Marvel put the Kibosh on making toys and collectibles from Marvel Zombies.

Yes, it would. For us. But perhaps instead of going "WHY DON'T THEY THINK OF THE ADULTS OMGZ", you should realize they are children's toys. Those are specifically made for the younger crowd, where as MU and Legends, they cater towards us: the collector.

And the more moveable limbs, the more parts there are for children to break off.

Just use some common sense about this stuff.

I agree with you, Zeo, on pretty much everything you said. I do apologize, though, that Enigma is just too cool to know who Maverick is. Honestly, I had the old ToyBiz Maverick from the old X-Men line and loved him. I was completely stoked to get a figure of him so soon in the MU scale. This proves one of the points you made: that this scale will allow a far greater range of characters than Legends. There was never even a Legends figure for Maverick after how many waves!

I collected the 6" Marvel Legends stuff as well. And prefer the 4" line by far.

Plus outside of the first wave, where I'll agree they stumbled on a few figures, Hasbro made some awesome ML figures. Marvel Girl being one of the best female figures ever in ML. And they improved even more moving forward after they got the hang of it, with the FFF, Ares, and Red Hulk waves.

And they did shrink the price to match the scale. You just ignore the facts.

Marvel Universe = $8.00 ($2.00 per inch.)
Marvel Legends = $12.00 ($2.00 per inch.)

I have preorderd 3 of them, 2 vertical and one horizontial cases.
each one hold abut 150 figures,
so I figure one for MU, one for my joes, and one for other stuff
