Forgive the crappy cell pics, but I've misplaced my digital camera. It's in the house somewhere, I just need to find where the gremlins hid it. In the meantime, here's some WW2 Cap pics.

Crossbones and Red Skull are part of Wave 2. It is possible that the w2 cases are in stores, ready to be put out first day as well. That's what I was hoping for. W1 & 2 of the Iron Man 2 went out first day, unlike Thor, which is contributing to that lines failure IMO.

If both waves if Cap are available monday, Hasbro will have over $200 of my paycheck. Not to mention anything else I would like to find on the hunt (MU w13, MU CPs, DotM Shockwave, Thor w2, latest CW, POC w5)!

Idk, man. There's something not right about turning a WW2 US Airborne uniform into a bad guy's. Just sayin'.

My Target had them, but was completely wiped out (a lot of pegs) when I got there today. They were just about wiped out of the DoTM stuff too (a lot of pegs of this too).

I stopped at Target today after a meeting at work and lo and behold, a section of Captain America figures. I wasnt planning on getting any but once in hand, I had to pick up the Captain America with the parachute (such a cool accessory), Winter Soldier, and WW2 cap.

That ww2 cap is inferior to the SDCC one in paint apps, but the shield is totally superior.. I would almost pick one up for a shield swap on my sdcc.. really nice!

It's great that they put out the figure for everyone to collect after all it really is a marvel of articulation/accessories/sculpt. Now if only they would do this for the other BS overpriced figs like X force AA haha.

WW2 cap has the best articulation out of all the marvel universe figures. Unless you wanna argue about movie version spider man which has great articulation too.

Rocker ankles? If not then it's Iron Man and Silver Samuari holding the "best articulation" title while Spidey quietly weeps in his mask.

Yeah well, it's balancing scales for the AIM soldiers that are becoming good guys...

Cant wait for carded Hydra soldiers- I already have six of the three-pack version and two customs (Viper and Baron Strucker) so my Hydra gang is gonna be off the chart!

Trust me...they're not "wiped out."
They probably shifted the pegs but hadn't put any product out yet. But they've probably got plenty in the back. Definitely so with the DotM stuff.

Okay, after a day of shopping with the wife, I ended up with Crossbones, Ultimate Cap, classic Cap, Bucky Cap, and Captain Britain. They are SO awesome. The only one I saw and passed on was the WWII Cap. I'm not buying a figure with stupid XMO hip articulation when the rest of the figures in the wave have much improved hips. Still not MU hips, but closer.

Will you post some pics of bucky cap please? I want to see if he is worth my time to hunt down vs my MU version. Thanks!

That's a pretty lame reason to pass up on one of the best articulated figures out on the pegs right now.

But to each his own.

But onto a more pressing matter. Would you mind snapping some pics of Bucky Cap and Crossbones? Just to keep me hopeful lol?

Finally saw Captain America toys on the pegs today. That Captain Britain is waaaay better looking in person. The shiny chrome look on him is pretty pimp :P I don't even know much about the character but he really stood out in a good way. Originally he was a big pass for me, but what a turn around seeing him in person makes.
