It looks like they did in some places, but most stores ordered/received Wave 1, which hopefully won't hold back from Wave 2 showing up in mass because that would be a shame if movie Cap and Red Skull ended up being hard to find, because while the comic figs are great, this is still a movie line.

That said, does this remind everyone else of the Wolverine Origins line? I remember the comic wave hitting in mass before the movie wave. The movie figures still showed up in a decent amount but not for a week or two after the initial release.

Too bad the shield's all gummy, but I had the same idea.

You know what you're right. I do remember seeing the movie stuff come out at least a week after the comic wave.

I hope the wait is worth it.

I think it will be, that is if you like the movie design. I really enjoy that costume and from the looks of it, that figure is a great interpretation of it:

Note: The top helmet is removable.

I think that the shield has straps as well.

And I really do love the movie design, its a nice mesh between mainstream and Ultimate designs.

Yep it does have the straps and I think I saw somewhere that the final product has good detailing on the shield overall, that make it more distinguished from its comic counterparts.

BUT! I'm still gonna try. Also, if it doesn't work..I might just repaint the deluxe cap to look like us agent
Agreed. I am planning, since it will be an extra figure to do a little cutting and pasting as it were. My plan was to clip all wings off the head & boots and super glue the armor on.

I got Ultimate Cap yesterday. I had to satisfy my desire to own something based in a universe named after an adjective that describes me: ULTIMATE

So after opening the package before my god like physique, I checked out the figure.

Unlike myself, Ultimate Cap here is unfortunately made out of soft plastic. BOO.

Ultimately I think it's a decent figure, better than the Marvel Universe version(main reason I got it), but wish the paint was darker. Forgot if the lighter tones are more comic accurate. Or should I say:

I don't give a fuck.

The action gimmick saw blade dos equis shield? Don't mind it. Must be for the haters. Except the star.

WHAT THE FUCK

This is no star. This is like some fucked up constellational wtf apparatus. If I looked to the sky and saw the stars, this shape would be FAIL. Oh and folks it's MOLDED on. How the hell this passed design checks is beyond me. I'm baffled.

Nonetheless, decent accessory and OHHHHH hard plastic. Good.

The figure itself I think should be taller. All movieverse figures in this scale by Hasbro are shorter than I'd like. Bad thing about the paint apps on the forearms. The forearms are molded in dark red, which is cool, BUT the white is painted on and EASILY scratched off just brushing against the bicep. Case in point, the right forearm looks okay, the left arm looks like Cap just shoved his arm halfway into Red Skull's throat, tickled his lungs, and clenched his still beating heart then yanked that $%^&*(er out and threw it against his forearm again.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. The forearm paint WILL scratch off just by moving.

Shin, the riot armor cap is a darker repaint of the ultimate cap.

Nope, just like the MU version except a Peg on the back and no straps.

Went to 4 Targets and 3 Walmarts. Kind of felt a collectors void since I wasn't able to pick up a Cap figure. Was able to snag Captain America Battlefield. Held off on Winter Soldier for time being since it seems a plenty all over. Anyhow, total bust at most stores since they were still resetting, cleared out with only a few figs on the pegs, or just empty.

One Wal-Mart I missed out completely on wave 2. Only saw Cap w/ Snowboard out of the whole wave. Was sad that I missed out but, because I hoped to find them I was able to score other delightful figs I've been searching for.

I found Marvel Universe Cable w/Hope, Wave 4 Snake Eyes, and 2x DC Universe JLU Batman Beyond.

I snagged a WW2 Ult. Cap yesterday, I was gonna get Wonter Soldier with Ultimate Cap but I didn't have enough for both so I took Ultimate Cap & I've only found Wave 1 in the vicinity of my house T_T.

Dear Andrew , We apologize, an error occurred while processing your order. The order has been canceled. We invite you to contact us at 1-877-235-9959 so we can assist you in placing a new order.

Sincerely,
Imran Jooma
Senior Vice President, e-Commerce

MMMyeah ok thanks for nothing. So I email them informing they need to take those items down, that I was not the only one, and I got this shoddy pre-made response that encouraged me to REPURCHASE the items!!

Bottom line? There's a reason KMart is light year behind Wally's and Target in terms of business mod, customer service, etc etc. AND the stores themselves are disgusting.

Walmart. I hit two. One had wave 2 minus skull and bones. The other had shit.

and Bucky looks great. I'm a sucker for metallic paint apps though. In fact, he just took my MU Ult Cap's shelf spot.
