I have a Wave 2 Crossbones figure and Heroic Age Captain America (Bucky Cap), MIB, sitting on my table. Considering whether I want to sell it or ebay it. Maybe just take it back, seeing how I already have one for my shelf.

Considering that you could trade the Crossbones to either a Marvel or GI Joe collector it's not a bad figure to have for making trades with or sweetening a deal.

It looks like the Invader Red Skull's demand is dipping.. it's down to $18 today. Maybe it'll get back down to $13 or so... there's still 190 available.

IMO SDCC Red Skull is crap! The only thing good is the head.

Really? What makes his crappy? Does he have the same knee issues the SDCC Cap has?
I'm mostly interested in the figure for it's head- that classic Skull comic look.

And wanted my Magneto's boot on his neck.

I love the Incader's Skull. The comic head and more Nazi-like suit is awesome.

The Invader's set has sentimental value cause my girl at the time got it for me before xmas but yeah every figure on there is flawless. I especially loved the old/worn looking color scheme on Cap, the OG Torch is my fave torch & Namor looks great with the classic eyebrows & swimming trunks.

Yes the uniform is better looking then RoC Destro and Movie Red Skull but he is so damn short... Same reason why I dislike my fav characters figure. "Gambit"

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I just saw that Dark Hydra soldier deluxe figure at TRS- I cold not believe his crappy head sculpt and the fact that he's WAY bigger than the MU modern Thor!
I was trying to figure out waht i could possibly make from his body as a custom, could not think of anyone that big in that sort of ge up and so passed on getting him at all.

One of the stock guys was super cool and got me the one unopened case of Cap figures, but alas, no single carded Hydra soldier.

I guess that's not out yet.

Picked up odin and the minimates version t do that custom helmet/spear thing.

I went into the manhattan yesterday with my woman to spend the day and stopped by the Disney Store in Times Square on our way back home. There were Crossbones on the pegs, so I asked the man stocking nearby. He told me to wait for him for about 5 minutes and came back out with 3 Crossbones and 1 Red Skull, with a huge smile on his face. He asked me if i wanted all of them lol. I took only one, discussed the more expensive aspect of collecting, then helped him put up some other cap figures he bought out back on the pegs.

For such a busy store, i was amazed to get such awesome service. The people at that store are really cool.

That's cool of him, I tend to not run across people that helpful.
How much were they at Disney in times square? Disney store usually charges a couple of bucks more and in nyc there is usually a price increase also.

It was $9.00, plus tax. I was pretty happy, seeing as how MidTown Comics, which is just a few blocks away, was selling cap and MU figs at 14 bucks a pop.

so I went to ToysRUs during my lunch break. figured I'd look around at some possible shelf porn or somthing. But I was shocked.
They actually had New Marvel Universe! My ToysRUs hasnt carried anything outside of a single galactus and 5 IM/DD/SS 3packs. But there was the X-Men 6 pack stacked together, and a Wolverine/Sabretooth Comic Pack. Nice. Didnt get em cause I already had em, but nice

Now onto Captain America. They have Wave 2! not only that, but I snagged Red Skull! No Crossbones though. I would have picked up a Crossbones for any Toyarker who needed him. Either way, I saw Wave 2 and got me a Red Skull :3 gonna mod him into a Baron Strucker by giving him a ROC Dr Head, and swapping out his hands

Ah a fellow New Yorker it's weird how sometimes we get the best or worst luck when it comes to getting figures right?

Indeed RedLantern. Its amazing how you can sometimes come home with a huge motherload, and then the next day with a bag full of sadness and despair lol.

Although I am not technically a New Yorker..I'm from Jersey. I live right outside the Lincoln Tunnel though, so its only a matter of a 10 minute drive or subway ride and I'm there.

See the thing is if i say im from Jersey I automatically get grouped with those MTV douchebags..So i just say I'm from the NYC Metro Area lol.
