I thnk that's because they molded his chest stripes onto him- which I guess is okay as he wears a bullett proof vest instead of scalemail.
Steve must reek after a hard day wearing scalemail! |

Nah man the torso overall just seems too big for him. It's as if longer arms and legs would look better, doesn't even seem like the arms and legs he has were even intended for him.

They do seem to be really slow to get on the shelves at most places. I've only seen the wave at Toys-R-Us so far.
On the bright side at least wave one hasn't been clogging up the shelves at most of the places I have been so when stores get them at last there will be room to put them out. |

And at one TRU, that was bare, I asked an associate and they had a fresh case of wave 2 in the back. Why? Their Cap pegs were bare for days. What are these people doing all day long? The sure as hell aren't manning cash registers, that's for sure.

I have given up on finding any figures in my area, they just aren't popular enough for places to stock. Once Canadas Postal woes get fixed, I'll probably be sending out a lot of PMS for a damn Red Skull lol

Sigh. I was in Wal-Mart yesterday while the Hasbro Rep was there and I specifically asked her if there were any Cap or MU cases going out that day. She says "No, there aren't any action figures back there except Transformers and I didn't read on the blah that there were any for the blah blah blah..."
Went into Wal-Mart this morning and 2ea case of CapW2 and MU13 were put out. Everything good, scalped. I only say scalped because both all 4 USAgents and BuckCaps were still there. Anyone have a Crossbones they wanna sell or trade?

How rare are Red Skull and Crossbones? I have the chance to pick up both from a friend this weekend, and was wondering if I would be able to trade for any MU13 figures, specifically Cyclops and Cable.

They're not rare and I doubt anyone would make that deal... maybe with Cyclops. The Cap figs have only been out for two weeks. My area went from having a Bucky here and there to having two in every store within the past few days. It's only a matter of time until everyone has their Bones and Skulls and then they'll start piling up on the pegs.
..unless you live in Canada I guess. |

Honestly I don't think retailers are paying much attention to Captain America at the moment because they are gearing up to sell Cars 2 and Transformers Dark of the Moon figures. Once those movies have been released the retailer focus will likely turn to Harry Potter and Captain America. |

I don't think that Red Skull and Crossbones are all that rare, but it's a case of wave 2 is showing up so slowly and erratically that it's making the figures seem rare. So some scalpers have been jumping on the figures to resell before the distribution issues get worked out and we see the figures at all the retailers.
Honestly I don't think retailers are paying much attention to Captain America at the moment because they are gearing up to sell Cars 2 and Transformers Dark of the Moon figures. Once those movies have been released the retailer focus will likely turn to Harry Potter and Captain America. As flooded as stores were with RoTF; DoTM looks to be stepping it up even more. I remember seeing walls of RoTF, but nothing like I'm seeing with DoTM. One of my local Walmarts literally has an entire one side of an aisle completely full.

Yeah, I noticed some Pirates stuff in between all of the Green crap. Sometimes it seems like the toy co's have no idea what to make.

There is a Hong Kong seller on eBay who listed a ton of loose SDCC Red Skull figures.
MARVEL UNIVERSE CAPTAIN AMERICA RED SKULL FIGURE FY02 | eBay I don't know how reliable this seller is, but for $13.99 I'm going to roll the dice. |

I personally haven't had ANY luck with China. I would personally vote against you doing any ordering from China. However, I do have the worst luck imaginable, so yea :P
