For anyone else that might care. Yes there's not much shown but it is just a TEASER after all and they only finished filming a few weeks ago if I'm not mistaken and I doubt there's much done in the post-production at this point if any at all.

Now with all that said I'm really looking forward to seeing more. The shot of the symbiote in the canister was brief but there was definitely more than one canister which I'm hoping means that the Life Foundation symbiotes from Lethal Protector are going to appear. I'd love to see a big symbiote throw-down on the big screen.

I want to like this movie, I do. But based on this teaser I'm not sure if I will.

I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

I like how that looks(though I think I prefer him in SM3) and I love Venom overall but I have worries.

I hope it doesn't pull a PR2017 and only have him in suit for a small period of time(I loved PR2017 but I don't want that for Venom).

I also hope it's in the MCU. I'm not sure why but I want it connected.

Oh wow, that genuinely looks pretty great! I don't wanna get my hopes up too high for the Venom movie, but at least Venom seems like he'll be a good representation of the character visually.

Having watched the Venom trailer now in it's entirety, I have a little bit more faith that we're gonna get something somewhat faithful (in spirit anyways,) though I want to see the film at some point tie this into Spider-Man somehow. Venom is the anti-thesis to Spider-Man, and without Spidey somewhere in the background, the character just isn't quite the same.

I did like that we see female and a darker skinned male in the trailer who have been possessed by symbiotes at the Life Foundation. I can only think that these characters are in fact Donna Diego and Ramon Hernandez (aka Scream and Lasher.) It would do a lot to explain why we're receiving the both of them in Legends form just months apart and from out of nowhere. While of course I would prefer to have all five of the Life Foundation symbiotes appear, I think that would be a bit too ambitious for the first film in the series.

Regardless, I'm really excited about the prospects of seeing the both of them on the big screen, as they were always the most visually appealing and interesting of the Life Foundation 5. Hopefully the rumors hold true, and this film SETS UP Carnage for the sequel, as opposed to going all out and placing him in the film as well.

In non-Venom related news, I was finally able to get my hands on the Vision/Scarlet Witch two pack, and going back to something I said back at Toy Fair, this is Hasbro greed at it's finest. While the face printing on SW's face is really nice as are the new effects, these items were something that could have just been packed in as accessories with a standalone release of Vision, as the figure itself has been barely changed. No additional articulation, poorly painted hands, and that problematic heeled ankle pivot that's still useless. I'm delighted again to have the updated items, but to stick them in a two pack with a never before released figure like Vision is really dirty pool.

Vision is terrific, and I'm glad that I held out picking up that bootleg version. The only thing I can bag on with the figure (other than the 1000 yard stare he has) is the collar piece to the cape, which I might just glue down onto the chest because it kinda floats a bit high on him. VERY happy that they gave him interchangeable hands, something that had been missing on every other Legends Vision release thus far. Not sure if it was worth the wait for him in terms of pricing, however I'm glad that we finally have him to round out our teams.

As previously stated that trailer has me pupped! And I still think they could do a mini-montage or something during the opening credits that show newspaper clippings of Spider-Man related shenanigans even if they don't mention him by name. Just have the headlines read "Masked Vigilante" or something along those lines.

Eh. I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling it. Looks just a bit off to me in many ways.

I'm glad a lot of y'all are into it, though.

How the suit looks is irrelevant when the movie is going to be dogshit.

It's pretty obvious that the CG team took some pointers from Sideshow collectibles. That final frame shot looks almost identical to that weird bust they did a few years ago...just with more teeth...

I wanted this personally myself...

Still...I can live with it. I think it's the angle of the final shot that throws off the look of the face.

I'm on the same fence with this one as I am with DP2...I see some things that I like, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Everything comic related that I have watched lately though has been something of a let down for me, so I'm not keeping my hopes up. We'll see what happens when the film drops.

"Embrace your inner anti-hero" sounds stupid.

Beyond that, it looks great. I'm excited. I wonder, is it PG-13 or R?

Finally after seeing the entire new trailer, it doesn't look bad at all. I'm still all in for it.

Supposedly it's going to be rated R. We'll see if Sony follows suit.

I'm not really feeling that trailer. Maybe if it became his clothing and went from there, it would be less... uh... terrible? As it is, it just feels like a mediocre CGI weapon rather then someone with an alien lifeform attached to them.

I've also said, even here, that the young Thor buck could make a great Classic Kirby Thor with some new parts. I'm kinda hoping that after we get past the MCU craze (Which, don't get me wrong, I love; on a quick tangent I've bought more movie figures in the last few years then comic) and the movie's slow down a bit that we get a good classic wave, with Kirby Thor and Loki, Silver Centurion, a Classic and well articulated Hulk, etc.

Not sure if I'm stoked about Venom yet, but the whole thing looks to be cast well.

This can't be possible, since it hasn't even been cast yet. It would have had to have begun shooting by February or so to make that date. A quick Google tells me they "indefinitely" postponed production, so if it does end up getting made its probably more likely for 2020. Maybe they are waiting to see how Venom does before they invest in more movies, not wanting to end up like the Universal Monsters series that was scrapped when the Tom Cruise Mummy movie tanked last year.

Im with you on this. To me venom really doesnt work without having been spideys suit first and brock having been dissed by parker but itll be interesting to see how they work this out.
