Hey! Good to see ya! Happy '11!
Well, a while back I had stocked up on a spare Drift to make a Wheeljack, then shortly after saw the (really turbo sweet) pics of the official release. My spare Drift was just hanging out until I was catching up on some Beast Wars while painting.... I really liked the idea of the animated Cheetor drawings, using those triangle dot patterns, so I stole the idea, although they aren't hexagonal dots. I used Testors Laquer in Inca Gold, Model Master Brass, and a hand mixed metallic blue of my own creation. After some light panel work and some Pledge Future for that new car shine, he was done! Thanks for your time! All critiques encouraged! Thanks!

That works rather well as Cheetor. Would love to see some black spots and a Maximal symbol to complete the "Cheetor-iness" of it.

Thanks! I tried to work in the black spots without overdoing it, they are in the triangle patterns in both modes.
As far as a symbol, I just couldn't decide! Ultimately, I didn't have any Max symbols on hand, so I left him factionless...for now! Thanks!

Amazing. Positively amazing.
Drift is singleghandedly the worst and best toy hasbro has produced in ages. Drift himself is the most worthless TF ever. But his toy has the most amazing potential. I love Cheetor, and I love *this* cheetor! I would kill to have one just like this! |

This is awesome. Great work. I might even go so far as to say this is the best Cheetor figure I have ever seen!

Would probably make an equally nice Tigatron. Hell, the whole gamut of that Beast Wars figure and it's various repaints would look nice on that mold.

I really like that you kept the alt mode relatively clean instead of going all Jersey with the cheetah print (or even DJW's tri-hex print). It's one of the few problems I have with the Botcon '06 Cheetor.
Most definitely.
