I'm not a fan of how this Mr. Freeze turned out, but I really like this Catwoman figure. That said, wasn't she supposed to come with an alternate head?

I was just about to ask about the alternate Catwoman head myself.

Anyone else think the body would make for a great Talia custom?

I have Mr. Freeze on the way, but I regret it now. I really don't like that head sculpt. Looks like Yondu with goggles. I'm not fond of that freeze gun design either. It's odd.

this costume redesign never made sense to me. Its like, "I need a special suit to keep me at cold temperatures to live! Buuut I like my arms to breath..." Also, when your a cold based villain, you should avoid the white mohawk, because people will think it looks like a dollop of whipped cream. Like your name should be The Ice Cream Man.

Re: Catwoman alt head - unless I missed it in the package, I don't think it came with one. I'll check it next week. Back of package hype shot doesn't show it, but does show the alt red hood one, so its possible they held it for a repaint.

Re: freeze, I actually do like the look and the fig. It doesn't make sense in the traditional origin story for the dome and suit, but ignoring that I do dig it. Feels good in the hand and the detailing is impressive.

I guess I'd feel differently if I still bought the comics, but DC lost me when they rolled out New 52. I just look forward to the occasional collector-quality release of an old iconic design or a character from a landmark story that I remember. That said, these look well done if you're into the DC universe post-New 52.

Yeah, that probably means there isn't one. Even Arsenal's "backwards hat" action was shown off on the back of his box, if I recall. That just makes me happier that I canceled my pre-order a while back, 'cause I was gonna use the alternate if I bought it.

The new Mr. Freeze design isn't terrible (well, fauxhawk aside) but I can't help but think that it looks more like it should be one of his henchmen. For the toy, the head sculpt is the only part that really bothers me. It's great that his gun can be held in two hands, something my Arkham City Mr. Freeze can't do at all.

I think Riddler may still be the best of the Designer Series so far. The articulation isn't much to write home about, but something about the sculpt just looks classic and iconic. Batman is a close second.

Ha! Ha! The exposed arms and mohawk are exactly why I don't like this design for Mr. Freeze. The figure is a fantastic representation of what he looks like on the page and he looks like he'd be fun to pose, but the design choices just don't make sense for the character. You hit the nail right on the head!

I was at 1 of my LCS yesterday and seen most of this wave there. Freeze looked dumb IMO, I liked the dome and gun and some parts could be re-used for fodder, but not worth dropping that kind of $$ on him. I seen Catwoman, and some other stuff, but not worth getting to me. He did have the mecha Batman figure for $40 and got him to put it aside for me. I'm not the biggest Batman collector by any means, but the figure is so awesome and will fit in with my Iron Man collection nicely.

It's funny, I was actually quite happy with Freeze when I got him in the mail. Looks pretty good to me in person. The exposed arms still bug me, and the Arkham City version still seems superior as far as having a more iconic design, but this one ain't so bad.

Another Red Hood figure we didn't need. Wonder if DCC is ever gonna make a Under the Red Hood Jason Todd figure. We received 4 or 5 Red Hood figures this year and none were that good IMO. The new 52 version has that terrible Prometheus/Destro helmet, the Arkham Knight design is meh, and the rest are Red Hood Jokers(or lookalikes)that have been done over and over again. DCC you bore me. Seems like all they make are New 52 figures anymore. Nothing classic! The BTAS line looks great, but there are many reports of figures breaking. Ugh, hope 2015 is a better year for them.
