Me too, but I'll take what we can get! PCS has the figure license I believe and they're just ignoring it while they make a buncha Street Fighter statues that wouldn't sell nearly as well as a full line of Thing or American Werewolf figures (can you tell that I'm bitter about it?)

Man, that's a real bummer. I remember seeing a prototype for a Macready figure that never saw the light of day. I just googled it again, and it was indeed by PCS. Yeah, we all have a right to be bitter about it. Wish NECA had the license.

Can't wait! The Thing is one of the very few horror films I care for. Love the chosen format too.

Unfortunately, NECA doesn't really want the license, outside of maybe doing MacReady in the Mego style.

I'd buy a Mac Mego figure in a heartbeat. But for NECA, it always sounded like that was their only interest. But I'll gladly take the statues. With Chronicle, I know the detail will be there.

At an $80-$90 price point I'd be all over these.

Hard to make out any detail in the sketches. I'd like to see a recognizable likeness of Macready in some kind of ready-aim pose.

Yeah, the video stream was pretty low quality, and he kept moving the sketches around, so was hard to screen cap. Thankfully, Chronicle has been pretty good with likenesses so far.
