I have to admit that at first I looked down upon the 2" WD figs, however now that I have played with them, and messed around with the prison gate set, I have to admit they are kinda nice.

You can see pictures of all of them at ghastlyco.com (and I have many extras I can sell or trade) but they have some amazing detail, especially in the faces. I assume shrunk down 3D scans.

The paint jobs are decent, but what I like about them is that you can repaint them and make the3m even better. This is particularly great for the walkers as if you have multiples of the same one you can transform it into a new one with a simple color change.

One of the playsets of the gove3nor's room has light up fish tanks, which I guess makes it more expensive, but I didn't feel it was worth it. OK, it is pretty funny and all, but I would rather they just dropped the price.

Walmart had two exclusives which was just a breaking of the prison tower and prison gate into two sets, but each had a special exclusive figure- which is just kind of frustrating as after hitting up a number of stores I found out they only went o select Walmarts, and not in any large amounts. Bah!

Probably the oddest fig in the first wave is carl. First off they screwed up royally and left the hat out of a great many packs (someone needs to cast them). But, Carl's pose is bizarre. He is holding a flashlight and a knife, but in the way you hold a flashlight and pistol together. In going back through the show I did find the only scene where carl held anything in this way ( rescuing Tyreese from the tombs) and he had a pistol. I suspect someone was upset at having a boy hold a gun. d'oh! This is on my list to fix someday and give poor carl his gun back.

a bit on the pricy side, but great if you do not have a ton of display space.
