M.A.S.K. I just really want to see a full-blown M.A.S.K. toyline, maybe in the 3 3/4-inch scale following the lead of Hasbro's recent re-make of Matt Tracker. I don't have one yet, but I've heard the new Steel Crusher from the G.I. Joe movie toyline has been reminding some folks of a M.A.S.K.-style vehicle.

I've loved Thundercats (and Silverhawks) ever since I could say "Thundercats, HO!". It is my favorite childhood cartoon. The only toys I had however, were incomplete and messed up from flea markets and yard sales. Apparently they were no longer in stores. But I did manage to get a new Copper Kidd, and I carried him everywhere.

These toy lines are so very deserving of a quality reboot. Just check out these spectacular customs:

The Thundercats, Mumm-Ra and Quicksilver from Silverhawks

Cheetara, Tygra and Panthro

Lion-O

Steelheart and Steelwill

If only we could get some official releases of this quality! I would get them all in a heartbeat!

After years ruled by GI Joe, Transformers and power rangers. With the growth of anime in children's eyes and the sheer amount of influences blade runner, bubblegum crisis and other tech shows have brought forward, even the modern gi joe movie line... Isn't it about time that one twilight zone powered armor series made it's return?
You know who I'm talking about... Yeah that's right, EarthCorp.

Inhumanoids could easily come back to modern kids, and expand on it's premise while becoming a merchandising juggernaut. Human scientists in powered suits not much bigger than wrestlers in suit, researching, defending, fighting and protecting Inhumanoids from all directions, whether it be the other races that need protection from us and want peace, or the Metlars and other dictators who want to rule, inhumanoids could branch out extremely far. Heck, they could even expand it outside of just subteranean beings even, by changing the inhumanoids definition to something like:
Inhumanoids - Plural Noun. Beings of sentience or inteligence of unknown origin deemed of such magnitude, malevolence, or superiority that they are a direct threat to mankind and or the planet earth itself.

This show and toyline was ahead of it's time in the 80s, but, it's timing is perfect for a return now.
So much has paved the way, from Gargoyles, to power rangers, to even dragon knight, bubblegum crisis, Ironman, Gi Joe, and the list goes on and on, even godzilla.

Keep the retro design, but add in updated modern designs from influences from all the iconic powered armors over the years. (BGC, Halo, Transformer Motorcycles, Original Inhumanoids, Hakaider, etc)
And you could have one epic aweinspiring series and toyline covering all sorts of actual armored flavors as opposed to the 'wussy' spandex power rangers uses. Even something on that line as the marketing tagline. >.>
The science lessons in old shows like this or even Centurions also got more kids into science, and in this day and age, don't we need more of that now more than ever?

My other vote would be for a Centurions academy as the current members are nearing retirement age. Who will take up the mantle, or has? Why are they needed, etc. What's the 'excuse' to get kids interchangable armor hero variety?

@ Snowflakian...

Inhumanoids were great! I just bought a DVD with some episodes a few months ago. 80's cartoons/toy lines were the best. Nothing nowadays comes anywhere close. I guess that's why we all want to recapture that magic.

I'm not sure if that's entirely true, but that not a debate for here either. xD
I will give you that the 80s were by far one of the decades with the most original ideas and animation, but that's my gripe about modern media on all shores.

Inhumanoids and Centurions I mention specificly just because I'm an armored hero nut, and we haven't anything new in that department since, well, really the 80s. Unless you count Ironman, but that's well covered now, and we need other aesthetics and limitations out there.

Of course all in GI Joe scale even. =D
Makes the inhumanoids monster figures themselves even larger by comparison.

I specifically meant the combo of cartoon and toys, hence "80's cartoon/toy lines" statement. I should've been more clear. Ofcourse cool stuff has come out, and still continues to come out. There's just no where near as many cool cartoons with awesome toy lines anymore.

I would love to see the ThunderCats Reborn. I would like to see them in either a 3 ¾ or 6 inch format. This line of figures and the Cartoon had me mesmerized when I was a kid and I still like the cartoon. This show needs a reboot and the toys need to be rereleased like they did with Heman.
Another 80’s toys that I liked were the Mask figures. I would love to see a line of Mask figures and vehicles recreated. I had a bunch of those as a kid and loved to watch the Cartoon.
The third cartoon toy group that I would like to see rereleased would be the silver hawks. When I was a kid, I liked the cartoon and the toys but could never get myself to by any because I did not like the wing action they would do.

C.O.P.s AND SILVERHAWKS!! C.O.P.S was the most articulated line of figures of it;s size back in the 80s and the Silverhawks' while theme just ruled.

Well, first post on here... why not? =p

One I'd love to see reimagined would be the Starriors. I still love the Marvel comic book, and there were some cool concepts. Imagine if they abandoned the wind up/Zoids derivative design and really tricked them out... that could be really cool. Kinda suspect it wouldn't happen, because of the TakTomy merger.

Another I'd love to see updated would be Captain Power. The toys just didn't do the show(which, despite some clunky effects, still holds up today, thanks to stellar writing by JMS pre Babylon 5) justice. It's a line begging for removable power armor, and some cool features on the 'bots. And with the tech available today, you could greatly improve the "interactivity" of the series... heck, if you really wanted to roll with it, make the toys game system compatible and have "episodes" as DLC on a console. It'd NEVER happen, but it's cool to think of the possibilities.

A lot of fanboys will cry tears of joy if this happens. I know it's a long shot but I wouldn't mind waiting 5 more years if they could somehow incorporate Thundercats, Silverhawks and Tigersharks into one line

Well with the new Lion-O statue that was shown at SDCC, that could mean something else is on the horizon.

If I had to pick one it would be MASK. There is so much potential there that its mind blowing wondering why it has yet to reborn! I would love to see the small guys back in action again.

If by chance I could pick two, Thundercats would be up there as well.

Thundercats - If they can give He-Man an updated or a different style(early 2000's line), then why not Lion-O and company?

MASK - Dude, cars that transform. Hasbro has been doing it since I was 5...I'm sure they could do this line easily.

And I think this show barely snuck in the late 80's, but I want to see some C.O.P.S.! Better toys with more articulation, and I want that damn cool police car.

Dino Riders - It's Dinosaurs. Kids like Dinosaurs. Do this. And make a big-ass Diplodocaus again too. TRU is getting Jurassic Park(wtf), but no one wants to do a Dino Riders?

And what is happening with TMNT? Their comeback seems to be slipping. Where are all the other figures? What happened to the Turtle Van that was supposed to come out in June(according to BBTS)? Hmmm...

Runamuck, you are my hero... Dino Riders was a brilliant toyline (My favorite form the line was always the walking T-Rex with all the armour on it!) an if they brought it back, they could do so much with it!

count me in for a M.A.S.K. and Thundercats update too, these lines have been in limbo for far too long.
