I been meaning to ask this for quite sometime but either i forget or just run out of time prior to me going to work or just going out. How does one go about cleaning older figures? i have about 5 older figures from the 90s one battle damaged Mr.fixit hulk and 4 puppet master figures that all have a sticky feeling or film on them. i tried rinsing hulk off with dish detergent and water that didn't help at all and the puppet master figures i just left them on the armoire. any cleaning tips or a way to remedy this would be great. thanks guys |

i'm surprised no one answered this yet... coincidentally..i was cleaning some figs that had been sitting for a couple years... they had like a heavy dust that was also..sticky..even a little windex didn't get them clean. I was wondering what a good solution would be...maybe some vinegar or peroxide....hmm..? I have a Royce Gracie fig that developed yellow stains on his gi from where he was sitting on a book shelf...and i have a DBZ figure from lawd knows where...he actually produced some oily residue...weird...
