my first Review(s) are on Club Infinite Earths DC Signature Collection April figures Larfleeze and Monsieur Mallah with Brain

General
Monsieur Mallah is a nice Oversized the base mold is Gorilla Grodd his head is different featuring the Baret as well as a removable bullet string for a Machine Gun. For accessories Machine Gun and of course Brain.

Articulation
For Articulation well it could be better the Torso has none. The Arms are the same as Humanite and Grodd collect and connects. The legs are the same as Grodd so up/down but no left/right. Grade C

Accessories
The Machine Gun is nice it looks nothing like Deathstroke's and can be put on the Bullet belt. As for holding it good luck it takes work and only fits in the right hand. Brain I like though the Brain and Dome part looks something like Validus Dome and Brain. Grade B

what it lacks
On the picture on the Package Mallah is shown holding a Pistol and wearing gloves the figure doesn't wear or carry either. Like wise the Machine Gun is shown with a Sling the gun doesn't have this.

Overall Grade C+

Larfleeze

This figure has been teased in Both the DC All Stars and DC Unlimited Lines finally out in the club.

General
Ok I am happy in general disappointed in two things. The paint at points doesn't match either part of it is too Light or Dark and the Ring is only an Orange dot. The Logo on his chest is easy to overlook simply because it's white on Orange. Accessory is the Orange Lantern Power Battery.

Articulation
they are nice the Arms are double Jointed but the legs aren't. Otherwise nice range of Motion for the most part. A major issues are the outer Arms bulge out for the Logo which limits the Ability of Larfleeze to put his arms straight up. Also there is no Bicep Twist point his arms do not twist in or out. Grade B

Accessory
Lantern same as most other Lanterns, and the Lantern is exactly the same as the Green Lantern in the 2 and 5 packs, Green Lantern Classics and Most Lanterns of Wave 18. Really it's just the Wave 18 Lex's Lantern With a Handle (In the comic books the Orange Battery had no Handle so I inverted them) Grade B-

What it Lacks
This figure really could have used an Undersized in Orange Lantern Glommy or Greed Guardian Sayd. In addition he looks a Little like the Grinch in the Head except for color and Teeth

Grade B-

Look for my Review of Wally West Flash around May 17..

Theres a songs that have the words "Here we go again"

As Promised my Review on the Flash III or Wally West

This is the third Flash Universe character released of the Club following Last years Jay Garrick (Flash I) and Mirror Master

General
Well Over all I would say Anti Climatic Mattel promised a New Sculpt well aside from Head and Boots there is nothing New about this figure same base molds as the Previous Barry Allen, Professor Zoom, and Johnny Quick figures that have previously been released. The Colors are nice Red and Gold but if I am not mistaken they are the same as the Cherry & Gold Flash

Articulation
The Articulations are standard not double jointed but in this case thats the way this figure should be. Grade B

Accessories
None.... But what accessories does the Flash need. Grade B

What it Lacks
Originiality this figure is not Obscure and Mattel Promised Obscurity well Wally West isn't. Also the Flash is a been there done that figure even Wally West is a been there done that in Wave 7 he was Kid Flash and the Same Wave as well as All Star, Wave 18, 20, Club, DC Unlimited, and Crime Syndicate 5 all versions of the Flash Character, but I understand. In addition the Box Origin does not mention the reason Wally became the Flash

As a side note I don't know what The USPS did but this figure took 11 days to arrive to me in the past I have seen 5 days (Around Christmas) - 8 days (The last 4 including the April Two figures) Heck I ordered Owlman on Ebay on the 15th and it arrived in 3 days

Over all grade high B-

Well it looks like I am Up to the Red Hood

General
Okay nearly everyone who collects DC Figures have begged Mattel (For Years) for this months figure. Jason Todd better known as the Red Hood or Robin II. Let me start by saying that even though we all wanted him I doubt we wanted this. What Mattel did was basically take a Pill from Dr. Mario and the Red Virus and put them on an action figure. That being said from the neck down is nothing more then the standard Buck Body

Articulation
The Articulations are standard not double jointed. Grade D

Accessories
Two Red Guns which are nothing more then a thing piece of Red Plastic that looks like a gun and honestly by thin I mean maybe 1/16 of an inch thick. Grade D-

What it Lacks
this is where I am going to go off. This figure should be so much more then what we have there are several figures that could have been used to make The Red Hood and this is beyond Disappointment for one thing I think we all wanted a Red Hood that was wearing a Leather Jacket and not a cape, The Head should be just a Red version of Al Pratt's with black Highlights not something that looks like an Oversized Pill, and the weapons should be in number of Kamandi or Vigilante not two Thin Plastic Guns

Overall Figure Grade D-, Mattel Grade Z (I know grades go to F but I needed to give a grade that could be lower)

BTW the delivery this month was 7 days Paid the 12 arrived the 18

SHAZAM!!! oops wait Captain Marvel! Crack boom this has been another Highly anticipated character originally Mattel had polled for a figure in Wave 15 and Raven beat out Captain Marvel Jr among others. This is one of the Club figures I really wanted.

Articulation

This figure has standard Articulation. Grade D

Accessories
None. Grade C

What it lacks
The most apparent thing is bolt on the chest. Why has the bolt changed sizes 5 times over 6 figures (SHAZAM!, Black Adam, Mary Batson, 2 Pack, and Freddy Freeman) the nicest bolt is Mary's the others look misshapen, too big, too small, or poorly placed. Second is the Height I was hoping for Superboy Height no Freddy is a tick shorter. Third the cape is too long on the top. Finally Where is the Spit Curl Freddy was known for the Spit Curl and I just don't see it. Overall Grade C - and I hate giving this figure that grade but its what he deserves

I have to admit Saint Walker is one of the Best Lantern Characters ever at one time a Green Lantern Hopeful Saint Walker was found to have a Stronger embrace of the Energy of Hope.

Articulation
Standard Double jointed with the addition of the Head Tail twist I wish it used a bendable on the head tail but I really like what we got. Grade B -

Accessory
Blue Lantern which is the same as Barry Allens from wave 18 which kinda stinks since the Lantern was not that standard. Grade B-

What it Lacks
I would have really liked a Mini figure of Ganthet he founded the Blue Lantern Corp and would have been perfect for an attachment. In addition the hand is poorly desinged for gripping the Lantern Handle. Overall Grade B -

I'm just going to start by saying I do not like this figure or the character in general. Judas Oscarat the man who betrayed Jesus of Nazareth to Ciaphus hanged himself and the Phantom Stranger was born. In all this character has become DC's Trinity of Sin with Pandora and Question.

Articulation
The articulation of this figure is them same as Joker, Question, and Sandman of waves 10, 11, and 19. grade C+

Accessories
The Amulet on a chain. Grade C

What it lacks
Really I cannot say I just do not like the figure so I am just going to leave it at that. Grade C

Ralph Dibney the Elongated Man this is a guy who many people love and yet Mattel showed him none at all. I think they said it best in History of the World Part 1. Emperor of Rome pulls a coin from his butt and says to his assistant "Clean this off and Store it"

Articulation
The articulation on this figure is the same as Plasticman but could have been soo much more had they double jointed it. Grade D-

Accessories
a hand shaped like a fist interchangeable with a stretched open one, and a working looking glass. Honestly did Mattel throw away the molds after Plasticman? grade F

What it Lacks
Any of the greatness of Plasticman the Comic Con exclusive that came with a Box full of attachments this figure should and could have had the same ones but Mattel just dropped the ball here. Grade F

This will be my first Feedback...

The photos I saw were nice. Mostly and the forced upon us figures were Good, Bad, Ugly, Unwanted and Why?????

The Good - Ocean Master, Ras Al Ghul, Ice, and Oversized Doomsday

The Bad - Aquaman, Doomsday Prison

The Ugly, Unwanted, and Why???? - Batzarro

I have no Idea - Superboy Con-El

Ocean Master looks nice
Ras Al Ghul Overly fine not really impressed
Ice I love the look of this figure I have a feeling she'll be the Best of the 2014 series
Oversized Doomsday if we get the sub number we get this

Aquaman - I do not know why we need another
Doomsday Prison - Nobody wants another 6 inch Doomsday

Batzarro - this figure is beyond unwanted expect most to just put it on Ebay and Amazon

Superboy Con-El I like the look but this has been done before

Ok this Feedback is going to be a bit different... Let me start by saying do not reply just read...

Please sign up for the DC Signature Series called club Infinite Earths.

I know I slammed Aquaman and Superboy but joining the club is worth it the figures cost you about 7$ a week thats less then 2 gallons of Gasoline in many states. You will absolutly get the figure as opposed to the Crap shoot of going to a Retail outlet. The figures you will get will never be at a Retail outlet and the possibles include Merlyn, Batwoman, Damien Robin, Vixen, and 4 others. Mattel Listened and Doomsday is the Exclusive but it's up to us which version we get so go to the Max. Early Access gives you opportunity at Customer service, Comic Con, and other items at Mattycollector.com. So come on and give the collectors and yourself what we want and deserve

I received the Comic Con exclusives Dubbed Club Infinite Earths New 52 Shazam!

General

With one word Billy Batson an obnoxious orphan becomes the Earths Greatest Hero Shazam! the only hero incapable of saying his own name. First and foremost the Paint is Darker then previous versions of Shazam or Captain Marvel (Waves 6 and Mightiest Mortals 2 Pack), The Level of Detail is amazing, The Buck chosen is nice. If this is what Mattel of I am impressed this is what they could bring to Club Infinite Earths at Tier 1 or 2 perhaps they would get the subscribers by showing only one figure.

Articulation

Pretty standard the same as most of the figures not double jointed. Grade B+

Accessories

the only Accessory is the Hood this piece is detachable. The Box is the second and there are two of them the Outer has Billy Batson Saying SHA.... The inner Box has a Lightening bolt clear window with a backgound of Lightening the inner display, the inner box also features a raised name die cut SHAZAM!. grade A+

What it lack

It could have used snap on Lightening Bolts. And the chest bolt could have been more reflective painted

Overall grade A. This is the first figure I am giving this grade. Mattel Keep up the Good work if you made every Club figure look like this Consumer Confidence might be high and you would have no troubles hitting Tier 2 or even a Tier 3 if such a thing exsisted

I'm going to restart my reviews after I get Ocean Master. But I want to start with a feedback. NYCC. Last week was New York Comic Conn and Scott Nitlich showed up for another BS fest promoting He-Man and stepping on DC Fans in the process. I am completely shocked this guy keeps his job as a Brand Manager of anything but MOTU stuff he clearly knows nothing about DC, Ghostbusters, WWE, or Voltron. His attitude toward nonMotu club members has been that of a disinterested politician and is all but Ignorant of the characters.

Fire is a nice figure one of those fringe team members like Hawk and Dove of DCUC wave 20. She is part of the Justice League International and Maxwell Lords Superbuddies with previous released figures of Mary Batson, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, and Elongated Man

Articulation
The articulation on this figure is the same as previously released female figures (That there are very few of). Grade B-

Accessories
A fireball that a fixes over the left hand. Same color as the Green Lantern Constructs in the Hal/Sinestro 2 pack grade C+

What it Lacks
This is a nice figure. Grade B-

Huntress has two different characters. 1 Helena Bertinelli. 2 Helena Wayne-Kyle. This is the first. Shes the daughter of a Gotham Crime boss who hid in a closet as her family was murdered she took on a Role of a vengeful vigilante

Articulation
The same articulation as most female characters so far done. Grade D+

Accessories
A purple cross bow. D+

What it Lacks
Here is another figure that needed a bit more pop. she has a side arm (pistol) in a holster at her side but it's nor removable and should have been. Grade D

Sibling rivalry goes back to Cain and Abel but this takes on a Whole new complexion when the Siblings have Super Powers like Arther Curry and Orrm of Atlantis. Orrm wanted the throne so badly he killed his own nephew to get it. I like this figure the character is really not well known

Articulation
The same articulation is not much to scream. It's the same as standard Male bucks. Grade D-

Accessories
They call it a Trident but it really isn't an Atlantean Staff. C+

What it Lacks
this is a very nice well made figure. Overall Grade C-

One thing I am going to say the Shipping was horribly slow with this figure it seem much of the Northeast and New England's figures sat in transit from Elisabeth, New Jersey for over 5 days Mattel needs to look into this poor shipping and find a remedy these issues or they are going to lose more customers

Dan Nah Nah nah Nah Nah Batman

Ok before I start this review I am going to do a side by side with a previous Penguin released the same time

General
Wak Wak Wak Wak This review is on the Burgess Meredith version of the Rotund villain Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin... Of the 1966 this is a personal favorite of mine in part because he lived in Rockland County, NY just south of where I do even gave my Dad a Ride one time. I like the Colorations and sculpt, the height is nice, the Hat is tall and the right color, the Monicle is Muted and barely visible.

Articulation
To Start the Articualtion is similar to every previous version of the Penguin with a Mid Waist twist but no Ab Crunch. His pants are long and the Foot movement is somewhat restricted. Also his head is crouched so it prevents up down articulation. Grade -C

Accessories
Penguin has three a Base that says "WAK!" the penguins catchphrase, A card with an Artist rendering of Burgess Meredith and some Batlab items, and finally an Umbrella that is closed. Grade B+

What it lacks
I think a Major issue with Mattel is they are poor when it comes to updating the Molds, Articulation, and Character Appearance. For the most part he is a skinnier version of the Batman Unlimited Penguin except a little taller and skinnier. the head is off place so he cannot look up and down just side to side. Over all Grade C+

Batman From Planet X

General
this is an Alternate Universe Batman one of about 8 released (or to be) this year (1966 Batman and Swim Suite Batman from the Batman TV Line, Enter the Batman, New 52 Batman, The Dark Knight Returns, Red Rain Batman, Batzarro, and Batman from Planet X). This Characters real name is Tlano and comes from the Planet Zur-En-Arrh. He comes from a very old Story Ark dating back to 1958 and was rebooted in 2006. He is Larger then the Batman figures previously released. I do like the coloration

Articulation
There is really nothing impressive in this figures articulation very standard. grade D -

Accessories
Tlano comes with a Baseball bat about the same as Sports master except its wood over steel in paint and has white tape as opposed to Black. And Bat-Mite I'll review him on his own. Grade D

What it Lacks
Theres not much to say about what he lacks hes the same tired figures Mattel has been known for since 2006. Overall Grade D

Bat-Mite

General
This little guy has been release a second time in the last three years (I do not have the first version).

Articulation
The articulations on this figure is simply horrendous considering that Bat-Mite came out after the Green Lantern Classics Series 2 Undersized 3 pack it simply sucks. He bares the same articulation as Gleek but more then Tin. Grade F -

Accessories
He is an Accessory in the Batman from Planet X figure. Grade N/A

What it lacks
This figure for its size shows how poor Mattel is at making things work. They Update the 4 inch line but keep the 6 inch line stagnant. While this figure is not a 6 inch figure this one as well a other Undersized figures saw a major step forward in the Green Lantern Classics Wave 2 then with the Undersized there After they had the same articulation as Gleek who came out in 2009. Overall Grade F-

Red Rain Batman

General
The Vampire Batman the story Ark begins with the traditional Bruce Wayne trying to find the cause of horrible murders in Gotham and discovers that it's being Done by Count Dracula. One of Dracula's former minions wants to take him down Bites Bruce and turns him into a Vampire. Due to the Bite this Batman gains Vampire Strength and Batwings that allow him to fly the draw back is Bruce also gets the Vampire Fangs. In the End Bruce Kills Dracula but loses his humanity. This figures uses Blue/Gray, Black, and Brown colors with red Eyes and a Vampire mouth open display of his fangs. His Buck is thinner and is much the same as Larfleeze.

Articulation
the Articulation is a carbon copy of Larfleeze with the addition of the Bicep twist. This figure adds an Extra Articulation of each wing. Grade C-

Accessories
There are 3. The wings they come not attached and are very, very hard to attach the cape is in the way and it took me nearly 30 minutes to get them to snap into place. the 3rd is the Stake this is really nothing Impressive. Grade D

What it Lacks
As a figure he is a nice choice but he really could have so much more. I think pictures of the character show him much more muscular and he's much to thin. I am going to say that recent comments by Scott Neitlich clearly show why DC is getting little respect with alternate Universe and Pre New 52 items. Overall Grade D+

Check back soon for reviews on Ra's Al Ghul. I might also pick up Dark Knight Returns Batman. A bit of Forewarning I will be getting only Signature Series figures in 2014 not the Total Heroes line I view these figures as of extremely poor quality and are not capable of being shown in a Collectors Market I fully expect the Shelf Life of these figures to be 6 to 12 months before they are pulled and fully expect Mattel to announce the Total Heroes line cancelled at 2014 SDCC when the Online figures sell like Ice to an Innuit

Bruce, there's somebody you must meet.
Not now, Mrs. Delane.
Now, am I pronouncing this right Mr. Ra's al Ghul?
Couldn't resist well while I am not a fan of this character by many he is considered an Important Batman Villain, Personally he doesn't even make my top 10 Batman Villains, Anyway. This is perhaps one of the oldest characters in the DC universe in physical Age (Vandal Savage, the Wizard Shazam!, and Black Adam being the others)

Articulation
the same as every other Suited figure ever released. This includes the inability to allow the head to look up or down. In addition the hand articulation is horrendous and very limited if you keep the arms down the sword stick straight out. Grade -D

Accessories
A very long Symatar sword. Grade D

What it lacks
this figure is not all that exciting for one thing they have recycled the same parts from Joker, Penguin, Question, Black Mask, Constantine, Sandman, Uncle Sam, and Phantom Stranger. The head looks terrible and the hair seems to lack the white/grey that usually flowed along the sides. The Colors are a bit boring (Olive Green on Light Green with a little White, Maroon, and Gold). Overall grade -D

Dark Knight Returns Batman

General
Quote:
Grandpa George: Mark my words. The kid who finds the first ticket will be fat, fat, fat.
That describes this figure to a T Fat, Fat, Fat his thigh is as big as the other Batmen waists.

Articulation
this figure had a typical articulation for it's sheer size. C -

Accessories
Batarang that's it. D

What it lacks
Sadly this figure needs more characters from the Dark Knight Returns Movie. Overall Grade D+

Batzarro

General
Let start by saying this singular figure shares a bit of is reason why the Club Infinite Earths came to an end. It's not really a Figure that should have been placed in a the Club it should have been a Retail figure simply because the purchase should have been optional.... As far as figures go a huge Let down.

Articulation
The Articulation is very standard nothing special. -D

Accessory
A Batarang... -D

What it Lacks
This figure Lacks the size to be a Bizarro World character. Batzarro is about the size of The Dark Knight Returns or Mongul and he isn't. I would say he falls somewhere between Batman from Planet X and Any other Batman. The design was poorly done and the paint coverage sucks. The Cape is Two toned for some reason when the inside of the cape should have been just Black not Grey... Overall Grade F..

I am going to make a few changes for the final 12 DC figures... 1st the I will be 1 - 10 scaling the figures as opposed to letter scores
