Based on current trends, who do you think could see a figure? If you're reading the comics, you might be a better judge, but everyone can play. Please don't make this into a "I want this guy, but I doubt it will ever happen" thing. Serious predictions, that's what I'm interested in.

If we go the whole Avengers Now! route, I think we could see a Falcon Captain America, a Lady Thor and Superior Iron Man (easy repaint of something).
If they did a Lady Thor, we might see a Lady Sif from the same mold too.
And I predict a Scarlet Witch repaint into an Enchantress because it's so damn easy!

With Toy Fair this weekend, I'd be curious to see if Hasbro shows new figures that we don't already know about.

Ideas?

Marvel Infinite:

Emma Frost and Executioner/Skurge are the only "for sure" bets I have. Well, that and the rumors from Wave 3 2015.

Beyond that, there's a few figures I do see within the realm of possible predictions:

Forge, Lady Deathstrike, Viper, Venom, Carnage, Ka-Zar, Moonstone, Sasquatch, She-Thor, Falcap, Angela, Shamen, Snowbird, Tigra, new Spider-Woman outfit, Superior Iron Man.

It should be noted of course that there won't be that many females. Maybe 1-2 out of that list. And the emphasis on Alpha Flight is only because they seem to have already taken a direction at releasing some Alpha Flight characters and they may continue on with that.

Marvel Legends:

Harder to say, becuase most of what has been previewed/hinted at has already been released. Thus there's no real strong predictions.

I will say the rumored Ant-Man and Dr. Strange related waves of course.

Beyond that maybe an Enchantress, Mockingbird, Songbird, Cloak and Dagger, Superior Iron Man, SheThor, Falcap, Angela.

I can't think of anyone beyond that that has a relatively strong chance at being released, though I'm sure there are others that will be.

Edit to add one figure to both lines: Kingpin. With the new Daredevil show coming out I think it's a reasonably realstic guess that some of those characters might get a push. Daredevil already is. Kingpin would be a great BAF as well for ML.

I reckon a MI Ka-Zar might be on the cards because they're doing Shanna, he's also in the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon.

And because they're going to do loads of awesome dinos in the Jurassic World line and they will all go brilliantly together!

Yeah, the only reason I brought up Ka-Zar was because of Shanna. It doesn't make sense to have one without the other, but if she were not being released, I would not have thought to think either one would be viable choices.

I think Legends Ka-Zar was a SDCC exclusive so it would be a step up.

I'm not sure if you'd say this is a prediction or more of a wish but I want to see Skurge the Executioner and Enchantress make a Legends appearance. Enchantress is long overdue for a legend. I'm also hoping for my number 1 most wanted figure... First Appearance STORM!! I know there is little X-men love right now but she's a glaring omission in the classic X-men line up (as well as Thunderbird and Sunfire) I think a repainted Scarlet witch with some tweaks would make a nice Polaris also.

Polaris and Enchantress consistently come up amongst the top requested figures for ML for the last few years - based on plenty of lists/polls I've seen, both are always in the top 5 if not 3. hasbro must know they are wanted. But I don't see us getting Polaris because Hasbro is pretty much screwing the X-Men figures over of late. Enchantress though I'd think is likely but then again I've been thinking that for several years now. I can't help but feel
it's going to happen for her at least. I'm hoping she shows up in Thor 3 to make it more likely.

I expect comic-wise we'll see a lot coming up maybe.

Secret wars seems like a good place to do a lot of cross universe figures and there are a lot of retools possible from parts already made.

Falcon Cap and Fem Thor I expect to be high on the list. Ditto to kate bishop and repacking the avengers assemble hawkeye.

Then possibly an All-New X-Men set, and A-Force, maybe some other oddities that can be made from parts already out there. Followed by Marvel Now interpretations like the new Wolverine suit pre-death, AvX aftermath Cyclops, and some other mainstays like that including Otto Spidey.

Movie-wise though. I don't think we're going to see a real 3.75 inch line again until Cap's movie and then Avengers 3-4 where everyone is included.

This would let them ease into the water a little bit back in the swing of things, and then allow full hero coverage alongside maybe even some of the previous movie villains. Kind of explains skipping the movies now when you think about the fact many won't get new costumes in the later ones, and some haven't gotten their costumes yet either. There are a lot they could recard too that people missed like Odin, warriors 3, destroyer, and Sif.

Still hoping for an Ant-Man, Vision, and Ultron movie box set though alongside a tony stark, vision(transparent), and ultron(energy glow) variant set.

I agree with Chuck. Fully expecting Spider Gwen. She was definitely one of the break-out characters from Spider-verse and is constantly popping up on my comics related news feeds.

As much as Marvel is cranking out GotG related comics now, a comic based Guardians set seems more and more likely as well. Seriously, these guys are getting the full on Wolverine (I'm in everything) treatment right now.

I want proper surprises!!!! I want figures I did not see coming. I want them to fill the holes they have, and make what they have promised. I want new moulds with new stuff. I want to see old moulds being used creatively. I want army builders re-released. Where are Executioner, Emma and Northstar? I think we may get a Coulson if they are making Chameleon.A nice Ronan would be a good sell using parts they already have in MU scale.

I thought we were getting a 4" Executioner? Well, they did release Valkyrie as a single instead of the 3 pack we were teased before. So maybe down the line he'll get released as well, or are you guys saying Legends instead?

Yellowjacket and Quicksilver.

Northstar is already accounted for, he's in Wave 2. It's just a matter of WHEN that wave will come out.

I hope that's still the case anyways. He's the one I want most from that wave and it would be my luck he was cancelled again.

Hopefully. I just know I am ready for my Emma goodness. If she isn't shown over this weekend I'm going to be ready to cry.

At least they showed Thunderstrike. Damn, they showed Korg instead of Skurge - the already have the figure from last year...smh.

Man, I got excited for Movie Vision and Ultron's face looks weird. Where's the 1/18 versions? So no movie X-men plans?

There are other figures I liked but they are not my scale. This hobby is expensive as it is. I can't go back and forth on different scales and themes again.

It's funny, because I called this years ago (not with you personally, just in general). When Marvel Legends were clearly getting phased out and Marvel Universe was announced, there was all that rage from the fanbase, and I flat-out said that Legends would be back someday, and by the time they did really come back, the same people complaining about the switch to 3.75" would be complaining about the switch BACK to 6" because by that time they'd all have fallen in love with the 3.75" figures they swore they were never going to buy.

I remember those years and I thought why not just release them side by side. I was ecstatic when they were releasing 1/18 scale Marvel figures and GI Joe. I felt bad for the 6" collectors. So now they are getting it their Legends again.

I'm just guessing here, did they start the 2.5" line to start competing with Lego and Megabloks style minifigures? What's the thinking behind those? I predict we might have some more of them.
