I was at the wallmart by grossmont area in san diego and noticed that they didn't have any marvel universe stuff up. The person who worked there said that they were not going to carry that anymore. The wallmart on aero st also doesn't carry marvel universe anymore although they have a crap load of iron man 2 and spiderman ones. What gives? Now it'll be more difficult finding the new waves coming out soon. Has anyone else run into this?

yeah it's been awhile. Haven't seen MU there in ages. That used to be my spot too! Shame really. Looks like TRU and Target, and of course the overpriced eBay market.. *sigh*

I frequent in my travels with work about a dozen Walmarts and now about half of them don't carry MU or even GI Joe. They also are apparently not carrying the Thor line either.

Hrm, over here in the Hayward/ Fremont area of NorCal, they don't seem to be carrying DCUC anymore. I see tons of MU figures and hell they even restocked today. I'm personally more annoyed that there's no DCUC, because they are hard enough to find and now I have lost one of my places to even look for them.

I try to stop at Walmarts when I can, and I've noticed a few that don't carry MU anymore; mostly smaller Walmarts in rural areas.

Out of the last nine or ten Walmarts, one in Ohio didn't have any MU and two in Kentucky, and I've only seen one Walmart get the new variant waves.

I have talked to the toy manager at my local Wal Mart and she states that they are not ordering anything new for Marvel Universe cause it doesn't sale for them there. Yet 30 miles down the road another Wal Mart carries them and continues to get in all of the waves and then several more within 15 mins of it that gets them as well. So I guess it depends on how well it does for that store.

Almost all the walmarts (Which is about the only place to buy anything. 7 walmart, one TRU, 1 Target) in my area have stopped carrying DCUC. But MU is plentiful.

Its really weird how the distribution works here because all 3 Walmarts here no longer carry DCUC, but have piles of new MU stuff. At least Target finally got the Batman wave and keep on stocking the MUs. Now my only problem is the damn Vintage Collection.

I will also add that the only local Walmart that still carries MU is also the only local Walmart that still carries DCUC and GI Joe.

AH. Lucky.

My local does not carry ANYTHING NEW. They are still running with the last wave of MU comic packs and still have a ton of Classic Iron Mans up.

Total BS.

I've noticed it's about 50/50 here. Of the four Walmarts in the area two of them don't have any MU or even a space set apart for them. Unfortunately as for the other two, one of them has nothing but Electro and two pegs full of Iron Man/Spider Woman comic pack and the other has about four pegs full of Hobgoblin and Guardian and the same comic packs....

I know this is more 'bout Walmarts in this thread, but I felt the need to post.
The stores here are Usually packed with new waves of MU. Usually. But most of the time one has new waves, the other one has old waves. DCUC ddi not sell well, so they stopped carrying it.

Almost all of the Walmarts in my area still have MU on the pegs, so I can't really tell if they're going to keep stocking MU or drop the line.

There is one exception, though. Last night I went to a Walmart to pick up some groceries and decided to browse the toy aisles. When I got there, I saw that they had several planogram pages plastered all over the toy section.

That means they're getting ready to do a reset, which may explain why they aren't putting out any new product for MU or other lines. I saw a few Thor-related items (12" figures, Mjol-Nerf) so it would seem that store will be carrying the line and need to make room for it.

But ultimately it's still up in the air until they finish the reset.

I live on a small island we have like 2 walmarts.. I don't have a car so I seldom get to the other Walmart farther away but the 1 closest to me has some mu figures.. 9-12 pegs of Iron man 2 figures, 3 full pegs of Spiderman, 2-5 of starwars/gi joe etc.. and maybe 1 of MU. 9/10 its either same peg warmers from the previous week or they got a new wave in and was already raped by a scalper/fellow collector. I wish walmart could do layaway for toys and let u set a case a side.

The funny thing about my local Walmart is that they have this banner hanging on the aisle showing that they carry Marvel Universe but underneath it are Zu Zu Pets. Been meaning to ask them if they want to give away the banner, would look so cool over my collection here at the house.

All 6 of my WM still carry MU. Lots of scalpers in my city so the pegs drain very fast

Most of mine have no MU. They have removed and brought back before though, I wouldn't be too worried.
