Wow.

I just bought the Ultimate Cap and his right foot snapped off. Right when I did my routine articulation "work out".

Bummer.

Congrats on getting the figure fixed. Always a bad moment when you have to fix something right out of the package.

As to the harassment thing I used to get it a lot back in my younger days but back then toy collecting was considered weird instead of being a legitimate hobby. Either stores stopped caring about me when I got older or all those ninja skills have kicked in at last. When I actually need help or have a question at Toys R Us it's like I'm invisible.

Or be like "yeh sure that product is at the end of isle I don't fucking care and the corner of I don't work here bitch! ahah fun times. I made a couple prank calls on Zeller's pa system good times.

Glad it worked out for you. These toys could never handle a real kid playing with them.

Dude! That just ahppened to me in Best Buy- I was wearing all black- nothng like the Best Buy outfit, yet this family asked me where the appliances and such were.

Sadly, I knew and directed them politely- yeah, I worked in retail waaay too long, I guess!

Man, I just got the two pack and it's awesome. Everything works fine. And SS has amazing articulation. But wolvies face is kinda off and one set of claws is thicker than the other.

I havn't had any complaints with the two packs. MU has rarely given me anything in the breakage department to complain about. The only thing close is the Constrictor I got whose bicep swivel kept popping off. I actually just let it sit for a while and, while it still pops on occaion if I'm not paying attention, it stays on fine.

Today I got Winter Soldier off of the movie line & Deadpool & Taskmaster but Tasky has no sling for the arrows so the cape looks funny on its own since it looks to strangle him or pile weight on his back LOL

I haven't had a single issue with parts breaking/falling off (knock on wood) but I'm really peaved about the paint quality especially in these 2-packs. Scoping out 1 figure with decent paint app is always hard enough but with 2 figs in these packs, it's near impossible. Some of the packs I've seen have really bad paint on one or both figs. One taskmaster had a huge black botch on the face where the nose is; just horrible poor quliaty Hasbro.

As for the 35th Ann. Giant-Size X-Men pack, couldn't get worse. There's atleast 1 fig in every pack that I've seen that has paint issues. Also inconsistencies with matte or glossy colors

Funny. I ordered one of those sets from TRU.com to see if I would get the variant (I didn't) and the paint apps were better than the best one I found in stores. Go figure...

Picked up the WWII Cap yesterday (the one from the SDCC mold) nad it's shocking how badly the knees on it are- really loose and the soft plastic makes them about to fall off- which is exactly what hus left foot did taking it out of the package.

I had to do the "super glue trick" in both knees and his ankle (which is the cool rocker joint).

Now he's all tightened up, but the design on his knees sucks- his pants just stop at the skinnt knee joints nad the resume after.

Annoying, but I only bought it for parts value- that body is going to be a GREAT Starlord!

Totally agree dude - the WWII Cap knees/legs feel cheap. I've stuck him on a MU stand to get him standing straight. Other than the colors, I really dig this figure - always wanted the SDCC version but was too expensive. But real pitty that Hasbro cheaped out and skipped on including fig stands for the Cap movie line...

BBTS has it listed as "August" but that means nothing, as the current wave of MU demonstrated- I found the whole wave in the wild, went back a week later and bought another whole set to hook up some Arkers and BBTS still had not got theirs in.
I canceled my order for that case.

Damn, but I NEED that GotG set- they're my favorite team! I even have original art from their comic!

I just want to know if Starlord's helmet is removable! If not, I have a nice modified Han Solo to use as Peter Quill's head, so he can just hold the helmet!
