Only recently revealed, we already have a release window for Wonder Woman: She will be out in December 2017, apparently as a retail release. We will find out about the price and accessories once her time page is up sometime next week.

Sadly it seems like the face is still as terrible looking as the one on the prototype currently on display at SDCC - let's hope they somehow fix this before release.

Wonder Woman's item page is up, she will be out in December 2017, cost 6,264¥, and will include two sets of hands, an alternate face, two lassos (one pre-posed and one holstered) as well as her sword and shield.

She will go up for pre-order August 1st in Japan. Worth noting is that one of her official pictures shows the entire Justice League - including Superman, Cyborg, and Aquaman who to my knowledge haven't been officially revealed so far.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, the head sculpt is a bit rough. Hopefully it gets refined a bit more before release.

this thing looks rough haha

the butterfly joint/shoulder area has like 3 different shades (probably due to material differences) but yeeeeshhhhh

yikes....the latest WW figure from the TRU wave is a superb figure when compared to these initial shots .

why do i get the feeling that all these Figuarts JL figures will have U.S. releases via bluefin??? did i read that somewhere or am i making it up????

They are. Bluefin already released Batman details earlier this month:

That face is obviously digitally sculpted (printed)
It looks like crap! Her face looks like gator skin compared to the rest of her body. Come on SH, this is not like you at all. This company can definitely do way better. I want a good quality WW movie figure, but this is a down right shame. It's clear that companies are starting to just give up when it comes to sculpting movie likenesses. Aside from NECA and Hot Toys, most companies are going this route....and it isn't really working out.

Like most SH Figuarts figures, I imagine the digital face print will look much better in person. They almost always look bad in close up photos and vids, especially macro pics, just looks like sprayed spots on a head sculpt. But on a shelf these always look good, but don't really care for this Wonder Woman so I'll pass unless it gets cheap.

This has nothing to do with the digital face print, that face sculpt itself looks more like a man cross-dressing as Wonder Woman. How disappointing considering how well done Harley Quinn and Deadshot's headsculpts are.

Hard to tell exactly how good/bad the sculpt is under the printed face. Plus, Gadot has a fivehead and strong jaw, she has some androgynous features and isn't particularly curvy so I would expect this to look slightly masculine. Certainly doesn't look as good as a lot of their other figures, looks on par with their Hawkeye release, accurate in some angles and bad in others. Will be curious to see some reviews once it's released.

Oh boy. I was thinking of cancelling my SHF Batman pre-order to focus on just Mafex and Mezco but that group shot looks pretty sweet and i actually think this looks really good.
I'm a sucker for articulation even when it cuts up the sculpt somewhat unnaturally like with the butterfly joints but the poseability makes it all worthwhile.
So I think this guarantees I'll be selling off my unopened Mafex BVS WW but what to do about the Mezco one on PO? Should I collect two DCEU lines? The slightly more high-end Mezco figures for pure admiration and the shf bunch set in dynamic team poses? If only they scaled together this wouldn't be an issue.

It doesn't help though. Look at the every other part of the body, then that face

I agree that all Figures from Bandai look..."strange" this time.

Wonder Woman does not look screen accurate.
Mafex one does.

Superman also looks like....an Old Man to me.

Really need to see Superman from New Pictures and without that "Dark"
shader one the Justice League Picture.

Mezco and Mafex did an better Job this time concerning the DC Figures.

The S.H. Figuarts Batman already looked "Strange", and does not even have an Unmasked Ben Afleck Head.

Waiting for more Bandai Superman Pictures, but otherwise i do not like
Batman or Wonder Woman, Mafex is the better Option for me this time.

Iam still happy of the Quality (And Ben Afleck Head Sculpt) from their Knightmare Batman.

I think her open mouth face looks great, the other one not so much. But I always use the more expressive face in my displays, so I'm fine with it.

One thing that I don't think helps is her eyebrows. The way they painted them, it looks like her eyebrows are either going grey or she overplucked them. They barely look like they're there. I didn't really know if I wanted to keep going with Mafex considering that the four from BvS were of such varied quality and I have only had one issue with SH Figuarts(ROTJ Luke has a really loose head), but...these don't look as good. And still not thinking I'll pull the trigger on ANOTHER Batman and Superman. Wonder Woman is a maybe since they are clearly improving her, but Superman isn't changing and Batman changes so little and in ways that I don't necessarily find appealing, so I'll probably stick with what I have for those.
