I just noticed your comment about paging me in the Peace Walker thread

I got my preorder put down.. Finally something I can afford!!

I stopped collecting Transfomers in 1987. I never made it t G2!

That's why I collect AFA Transformers/G.I. Joes/MOTU. These were my favorite 3 toy lines as a kid.

I can definitely appreciate that nostalgia factor. I was fortunate enough to experience G2 of Transformers, which gave me some less cool paint-jobs for my favorite characters but gave me them nonetheless.

I'll always remember when my brother got me the re-issue of Optimus with the black trailer, or when my dad bought me Ninja force Snake Eyes(my first SE though commando was always my fave). I'm a big robot/ninja fan though, so the muscle men MOTU didn't appeal quite as much.

Nostalgia alone is enough. You might not be old enough to understand. The cartoons & toys from the 80s will always be in our hearts. When we see toys from our childhoods, with a new style & look, we can't help but want it!

So I gotta ask, what's the pull behind MOTU?? Besides nostalgia of course. I was born a year or so after the crash of the series, and I've always wondered was the craze was with the half-nude muscle men, especially with the hype of Mattel's shop. I've thought that more than a few were awesome looking, but never got into it. I figured you would know, so I thought I would ask!
