Nothing COVID-related should have resulted in much higher USPS rates. So there is something else going on.
I'm seeing almost $19 just to ship two figures.

Four Horsemen is trying out a new system of rewards with their pre-orders for this launch. As goals are reached, new upgrades are added to all orders or certain products.

The first unlock was a coin that will be included with all orders but I didn't want or need that at all.

The second unlock is a new head and mask for Zeeri so any and all Zeeris should come with these added accessories for all time it seems.

Meh, maybe if they show off more parts for the insectoid guards....

Very much doubt it, they come with 5 pairs of hands and 3 types of weapons already.

My guess is head/accessories for Slogg and Olek (Gravering) considering they look sparse and their info page has "data not yet available" for them.

It's nice but I'm not getting that figure, nor do I care about the coin, so that's 50% of the unlocks that don't affect me at all. I was anticipating each level to be multiple items or something and not one. I know a unique head is a bigger deal and the paint and stuff, but I do hope the next two are a bit bigger or like including another blaster with a few guys.

This was the 3rd unlock. It will be included with every order so now every order includes both the coin and this relic/skull. It can be used on T.U.5.C.C. Sentry and Science Officer, both versions of Olek Thygar, both Sphexxians, and Vorgga. Of course it will fit any 1.0 Mythic Legions figure as well.

This line just isn't going to be for me. No humans at all I guess.

The weird aliens show a creativity in design, but seem of pretty limited utility. I hope it's what everyone wanted.

Agreed. As I said last Fall, I was hoping for something more akin to 1930s-50s classic pulp novel/scifi stuff like Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon/John Carter, or like the Captain Glenn variation of Queen Marlena that the Horsemen did for the MOTU Classics line. These look too "modern" for my tastes. The lack of any humans in this line is a disappointment.

I also recall early on when there was a lot of rumors about this line that the Horsemen were possibly going to do a figure very similar to the space suit in the Castle Greyskull playset as a tribute to it, much like their various MOTU tributes in the Mythic Legions line, but that rumor didn't seem to pan out. I'm not too bothered by that now since Mattel themselves finally did a figure of that with their castle accessory set last year for the MOTU Origins line.

I'm gonna say the off-brand Duros Cyborg guy is kind of cool.

But he's wielding... a mace? Why though? Feels like his right lower arm should be a cybernetic claw-blaster-murder-of-doom apparatus or something. But instead - medieval spiky ball on a stick.

Not really digging these cosmic legions. They should stick to mythic legions.

These are really incredible especially the cyborg. I think I'm going to go all in on the set. Also that blue armored one looks like he would make a great Mr. Freeze with just a head swap.

Feels weird seeing people complain about the lack of humans since my complaint about most space toy lines (especially modern Star Wars ones) is that they focus too much on humans and rarely the aliens.
I think what this line needs is some droids if anything.

Everyone has different tastes. I just don't know what to do with these figures if there are going to be no humans at all.

Mythic Legions doesn't scale well with any line, so it's not like these will look great next to Star Wars or Legends figures. And NECA stuff is painted in a way that it doesn't look very good with anything except other NECA. CL is just a weird line. But I wish 4H success. In general I like their stuff.

I agree with that. I can't stand it and it just makes me feel like we're too high on ourselves as a species or something.

Have you considered putting a human head on there. Parts are compatible between both lines.

50% of this is what 1st series should have had.

Much better than the 1st series. But still missing unique anatomy.

I don't need or want humans in a space line. We have literally only made it to the moon, but like someone pointed out you can swap heads from Mythic Legions on instead. I definitely went all in.

The scorpion head tail is actually going to be bendy. She is also partially translucent to resemble real scorpions.

The cybernetic Duros-looking guy and the grey alien are taller, around 8".

I was hoping for more even weirder aliens(mulitple headed ,or tri-legged ) but these are really cool humanoid aliens .Im really feeling the grey AIUS CYPPITEON and the reptlian looking NOVEUNN LEEN.
on the fence for the deluxe but other 2 are crazy enough for me.
Wish cyborg guy had another more futuristic weapon like a chainsaw arm or laser hand . I dig that mace im using for another character for sure. There's videos up of in hand look at the prototypes from this new wave of cosmic legions filmed by Adam power.

I'm sort of on the fence, or not into some of these as others mentioned...but I still am going to do an all-in since this is a smaller wave. But yeah I'm not in love with the line so far. Maybe that'll change when I get some in hand.
