Sweet! I hope it's good too. I'm sure it'll be geared towards kids, but so was that Iron Man Rolling Battle Headquarters vehicle, and that turned out pretty good. So, here's hoping.

I'm betting this will be the same rough size and pricepoint as the Iron Man 2 Rolling Command Center or Captain America Strikefire.

And yeah...the end of February is about right. The movie comes out at the very beginning of May, so it basically gives two months on-shelf before the movie hits.

This is going to be a really weird (and potentially expensive) year though...we'll be getting a major toy push almost immediately AFTER Christmas for the Star Wars Episode I 3D launch. Then Avengers about a month after that, and I'd imagine about two months after that we get the figures for the G.I. Joe sequel and the Amazing Spider-Man (which are so close together for movie release dates that I'd be amazed if they don't launch the same day), with Dark Knight Rises rounding things out for the summer movie action.

The Exosuit ironman figs I'll definitely be getting. The quinjet I'll need to see first. And I know I need a hawkeye, captain america, and black widow figure.

lol. You know what I mean. I meant geared more towards kids, as opposed to MU which is more geared towards collectors. lol Still, looking forward to seeing what they come out with.

if it's based on the movie design then it looks nothing like it does in the comic, but as long as it sports an A on it i'll pony up the cash

I'm almost positive it is, since every other listing says 3-3/4" scale.

Now, I forget- weren't those Mech Suits shown as part of the Iron Man 2 line at some toy show or other? If so, I'm hoping that this won't be the only opportunity the line takes to get some previously-unreleased stuff out on the market. For example, 4" unmasked Tony would be nice...

Gotta save some stuff for waves 2-4.

As for the Quinjet. That might be a recolored justice jet, or the jet that Hawkeye uses in the movie trailer. It'd be nice to get a comic quinjet, but with this being so movie focused and how hasbro likes to reuse molds for vehicles, I wouldn't count on it.

Expect the stark vehicles line to be similarly themed reused vehicles probably too. Like the Hulkbuster jeep, among others over the various lines. Maybe we'll get lucky and get some new stuff, but somehow I doubt it when they could just repurpose old stuff or tweak it, including Joe vehicle molds.

Maybe, but it says includes a 3 3/4'' figure plus projectiles. That doesn't sound like the typical bikes and quad pull back and go staction figures.

I'm betting on the Captain America plane and 4x4 that came with figures that were beyond bad.

I'm also conerned that we will never see wave 2-4 figures or at least not th e later ones. Right now you walk into the toy aisle and its full of Captain America, Iron Man 2 and Thor Figures. The First wave of the line will be mainly Steve, Tony and Thor all over again.

This also really puts a ceiling on the last Thor waves and The final Iron Man wave. I can't see them ordering anymore after mid december at the latest to give them time to get the toys on the shelf and sold before 2/27 roll out.

Probably, but considering we don't have any idea what's in the other waves, that may not be a big loss yet.

So far all we know is that wave 2 might be ultimate hawkeye and ultimate thor since they aren't listed in these. Ironman 2 has had years though and probably needs to be phased out and cap has no more waves, neither does thor so it's all good in that respect. They'll start filtering in the last of em this christmas probably with the rest hitting clearance in Jan-feb.

Please please please a comic accurate Quinjet that holds at least 3 figures! No Justice Jet repaint. Maybe even a movie jet if it's cool but it better hold more than one figure.
