*in my best George Takei voice* Oh my!

Helena never looked so good. Really wish they'd bring that outfit back.

Woah!!! Looks amazing!!! One of my most favorite characters from DC. But 1099 USD......

Makes me hope that Koto will re-release the 1/7 Bishoujo they did sometime ago.... preferably with her weird looking left hand fixed

I think it's considered too revealing, these days. But my oh my, do I love this costume. And it reminds me of my favorite version of Helena, the one in Justice League Unlimited.

To be fair, it is pretty revealing. To have an exposed midriff makes little sense considering most criminals she goes after will likely aim for the torso. Exposed upper legs don't make much sense either...

BUT, that being said, my exposure to the character as a kid was in the JLU series and Hush comic. So this costume is what I have always associated to the character. Since these are comic book/ animated characters, it is mainly the costume that defines them in art work like this.

So that is why I am a bit torn in regards to the trend of abandoning the old costumes. But I suppose sometimes it is necessary to give a more modest look.....

Also, is there even a Huntress in the current DC universe? I remember there was a new 52 line for her, but don't recall seeing one for the current one (rebirth universe is it?).

Same for me. Hush was the first thing I ever saw her in so that is the look I always associate with Huntress. Also she's in Batgirl and the Birds of Prey.

No idea how much they've probably changed about her though.

Sadly, yea! I could maybe not buy any more figures till May 2020, and then I could probably go for it...... well... probably.... lol. But then it doesn't feel that worth it though. Plus, this is a big statue!! 82 cm tall, ~60 cm wide, ~50 cm deep. I am not sure I have a place to put her even if I got her. Or maybe those are just me making excuses to myself

Yeaaaaa, Hush was the first time I was introduced to the character. I was like... "who is this with a bo staff" lol. Its the only Absolute edition I own from comic books.

But oh my, the new design doesn't look that good to be honest. Maybe its my memory, but I remember her new 52 design was much better than this one. She doesn't even have the pointy parts of the mask that sticks out. She looks more like a Purple Arrow with a cape or something.

God I hate that ridiculous costume, she looks more like a fetishwear model than a vigilante. Awful pose too.

I'm not a fan of it myself. Doesn't even really look like her except for the color scheme.
