I have a MOTU Screeech that I purchased in a lot of MOTU toys. The date on it is 1972. I know that most MOTU figures are 1981 or later. Is this normal for the screech to have such an early date. I know the mold came from another line of Mattel Toys. Was just wondering if all Screeech figures had this date or was it unique.

Thanks for helping.

The same model was also used in 1972 for the bald eagle from the Big Jim toy line; which explains the 1972 date on both Zoar and Screech.
