Well i mean comic legends have a certain amount of articulation (boot/calf swivels; waist twist sometimes double elbows for examples) and then you go to a character like say netflix punisher. No boot/cal& swivel, single jointed elbow. Netflix daredevil no boot swivel. Im sure others can offer other examples.

Wow. 2 pages of comments for this fig that I'd hazard a guess that most here have no intention to buy. Even more interesting is that this is the 4th iteration of this character to be produced by Hasbro. Someone loves her.

I don't want to say "give Hasbro a break" (multi-million dollar company), but the times on the whole are better than they used to be.
Usually they are, but unfortunately not lately with the ML D+ waves where the prices go up but the extra content in the box have gone down. It's been more than noticeable for some time.

I think she's one of the biggest 'new' heroes Marvel has alongside Miles, Spider-Gwen, and X-23 (who isn't even really new if you consider she debuted in X-men: Evolution 20 years ago). Gwenpool is sadly left sulking in the background.

I'm definitely gonna buy her though. Ms Marvel #4 still beats Wolverine # 20-something

Disney probably needs someone to replace Black Widow... they probably maybe should have killed off Hawkeye instead.

They're all being replaced and/or passing the torch. There's already a new Black Widow and Hawkeye.

^ That's definitely true for movies or tv shows, but IMO as far as merchandising is concerned... that haven't found a good replacement for Black Widow yet. IMO Black Widow was the only female Marvel superhero to breakthrough and get popular among the general public.

Look up Sana Amanat and the phrases "self-insert" and "royalties". You'll have your answer.

I'm buying one. I have one of the previous comic Ms. Marvels, but I think a lot of collectors may may fall in my bucket: not vocal or even super excited about her, but grab pretty much all the main heroes for their MCU display.

And I'm very much looking forward to Ultron, who she includes the centerpiece to.

Kind of tired of it looking like Hasbro is cutting corners with accessories. No unmasked head, no energy power effects. As if the torso of Ultron is supposed to be the accessory.
This show looks like (and probably is) garbage. Everyone involved knows it. Monetize while you can.

And on the off chance that appearances are deceiving there's still that whole economic collapse thing going on right now. I don't know what part of "it's only going to get worse" wasn't clear the first 300 times.

Because the goal is to slam these figures out as quickly as possible, not to appease articulation counters.

Or did you not notice all the screen inaccurate figures from Infinity War and Endgame?

I really don't know why this has to be explained...nevermind, actually I do.

Agreed. I have near stopped most Legends. I do not like the way Disney treats fans and properties and then the windowless packaging from Hasblow sucks.

The economic collapse is coming. Recession is coming mixed with inflation. I like looking at history and typically people vote for their demise.

Legends should stop selling soon due to all the above factors, then you have burnout, lack of interest, and increasing prices, failed properties and yeah...

You're gonna be holding your breath for a while, since that character already appeared in "Captain Marvel" and died. Unless you're waiting for an Annette Bening figure, which is still possible.

I agree. Now that I've watched the first episode, even though we have not seen her in the mask yet, but that headsculpt just doesn't look like her at all. Hasbro's been doing so well lately, though their headsculpts are not exact, but they usually give some semblance of the actor, but not this one.

You are very right it is definitely the headsculpt, if you didn’t point it out it would have bothered me all day, Thanks

It's their modus operandi when oil prices rise: MSRP goes up while accessories get cut, and when plastic gets cheap again they keep the higher price but start packing in more extras to kinda make up the difference. Rinse, repeat, ad infinitum.

The new releases are like $5 higher than inflation alone would give you over their prices 10 years ago, but at least she's got a BAF part! Toei Spider-Man comes with nothing besides two (totally inappropriate) webs and he's $28. In a windowless box. :/

Head looks a bit too pointy compared to Iman Vellani, not bad aside from that. Better than that lazy, lazy Avengers game version

I've been aware of her popularity and get it, but I had no idea she was this popular. 4 figs in this short a period of time popular? I'm a little surprised.
