Another decent sculpt completely ruined by horrible soft goods.

I just never understand why people keep wanting cloth on figures of this size.

Should be an Ultimate 7 inch, not whatever this is. And I agree the face looks off, too cartoony. I may still buy this because I love Elvira, it is pretty good otherwise.

Cassandra Peterson came out as a lesbian recently, been in a same sex relationship for 20 years. Not that it matters, just an interesting factoid about the Mistress of the Dark.

PO'd on BBTS. Looks a bit cartoony, but with 8" mego-ish line, it works. Adds to the cheese factor.

I'm sick of those overpriced clothed figures.
I stopped collecting them.
In Europe, real megos are only at 20€ when neca "megos" figures are now at almost 50€

To quote neca, ultimate sculpt is expensive to do. So why those figures are way more expensives than the ultimates.
And well-known horror licences are now almost only in clothed form: Nun, Reanimator, Candyman and now Elivra.

Yeah I'm also disappointed that this is another 8" MEGO style figure of theirs instead of a preferred 7" plastic one. I'd be fine with their softgoods figures if they were at least offered in the same 7" scale as the plastic ones, like the Creepshow figure they did recently. But making them 8" just ruins the compatibility when displayed next to their other figures.

The news of them revealing or teasing a new horror item every night for the entire month of October intrigues me. I hope this means we finally get to see their Bela Lugosi Dracula figure and to FINALLY find out what they are doing with Hammer Horror. I assume some other figures besides Michael from the new Halloween Kills movie might be revealed too. Is there still legal issues holding up them doing more Jason figures? I want a tease/reveal for the next Jason too (preferrably from Jason Takes Manhattan).

Also wasn't there some recent rumor of them doing a TMNT set of the turtles dressed as Universal Horror monsters, or was that something Super 7 has planned? I know Playmates did that in the vintage line, so it would make sense for Super 7 to do a box set or wave of the turtles like that too in their Ultimates line, but if the turtles ever dressed up like that in the 80s toon then maybe NECA plans to do it too. I could have sworn I heard recently a rumor of that coming soon.

I like the soft good, really, just for posebility.

The face looks a bit too cartoony, though, and of course it's not 7".

Did they just color her legs a kind of pantyhose look?
