So I took Nyquil last night, so maybe this is the drugs talking, but. . .

I had an idea of some of what may be the plot of DKR. We know Liam Neeson is going to be back as Ra's. Some have thought maybe he's in control of Bane. I think maybe he's not. I think maybe he's a very minor character in this movie, and only in there for flashback scenes to develop the character of Talia. We know a child Talia is in the movie (actress Joey King). I think Liam will be there in the scenes with child Talia, almost exclusively. But I think we'll find out that Ra's used a Lazarus Pit and is back alive.

Somewhere along the way, I think we'll find out that grown-up Talia has befriended Bruce, knows that Bruce is Batman (thanks to her dad), Bane breaks (kills?) Batman, and Talia uses a Lazarus Pit to bring back Bruce. Thus, "the Dark Knight Rises."

What do you think?

It would explain the shots we saw of a wounded bearded Bruce climbing around in a cave like setting. I like it.

I forgot to say that I think the Gotham criminal underworld will know, will see that Bane destroys Batman. Then when he comes back he can be the legend he was talking about in Batman Begins. . .paraphrase "As a man I'm nothing. But as a symbol, as more than a man, I'm immortal."

Leonardo DiCaprio was sought for Riddler role | Movie Talk - Yahoo! Movies
Would love to see Leo play the Riddler.

I read that article and still disappointed that there was no Riddler and was not going be play by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I still want to know what will be role of Joseph's character in the movie.

With Leo's big 'ol watermelon head, he's better suited for Charlie Brown.

Call me crazy, but Steve Buscemi strikes me as a twistwdly awesome Riddler.

This makes sense for you, Since the villains Seemingly tend to outshine the Hero in Nolan's films

I really hope Bane turns out to be a badass! But I will be disappointed if they make Batman remove his respiratory apparatus as a means of defeating him. Talk about predictable. played Batman Arkham Asylum: disconnect venom tubes to defeat bane. Watched Justice League Doom: batarang cut the venom tube to defeat him. Pretty sure that was his go to move in the animated series too.

Im starting to warm up to this movie. Still not thrilled with the talking into a paper cup over his mouth voice bane has. Heath Ledger won't be there this time to distract from Bales sandpaper overcompensation.
This movie has me Bi polar. I hate the look of the bat (the flying thing) but the gotham stadium scene with Hines Ward was great. banes voice sounds like a 6 year old handled the special effects but the action in the extended preview was pretty cool.

On the plus side I bought the Target 5 pack of 3.75 inch figures so I get a ticket for free.

I hope Bane kills Batman in this movie. Its really the only way I can think of it topping TDK. The movie will be wonderful regardless. Nolan can do no wrong when it comes to Batman. The man is a genius, and I love his take on the Batman mythos.

TDK has been in my top 3 all time favorite movies. This one seems to be just as good. I have faith it will be awesome. Already bought my tickets to see it in IMAX.

I'll be going to see it tomorrow night and then shopping for Batman figures at walmart. Should be a great night. Until then though, I'll be avoiding the internet like the plague. I'd be the most pissed off man in america if I got even the least bit spoiled on this movie...as its been my most anticipated movie since I watched The Dark Knight.

I need more Arkers to hurry up and see it already so I have people to discuss it with. By the way, I'm going to rewatch it tomorrow.
