DC Direct toys generally have very simple articulation. If you're familier with DCU Infinite Heroes, they usually have the same articulation.
Simple shoulders, simple T crotch, single joint knees, single joint elbows, and neck. If you're lucky, they have a waist swivle.

Outside of the preposed McFarlane stuff, I wouldn't call any figure a statue.

But if you're referring to the DCD Watchmen figures (I'm at a loss for anything else you may be speaking of), pretty sure those have the exact same articulation as 90% of all DCD figures. Barring in mind I don't own any watchmen merch, nor have I seen any figures for a few years (Outside of seeing minimates at TRU).

PVC is a type of plastic.
Usually not one used for action figures, and instead used for cheap end busts and statues (Where the more high end busts and statues use porcelin, resin, or other types of plastics).

I went to check the original link you provided to look at them myself (I had assumed you were speaking of toys at the time), but mentioning the PVC concerns me I may have been presumptuous.
Either way, the link won't work for me unfortunately (My problem. It loads the top banner, and an add, and nothing else). But your second link does not work at all. (It says "Error, page not found.")

I was referring to the dcd watchman figures. My figure knowledge is limited I only collect batman figures. When I saw pictures of the upcoming dcd 6inch figures the proto types looked like they had even less articulation that the normal dcd figure similiar to the watchman figures. They still look very nice I wish that dcd had come out with a 6inch line for the dark knight.

I want to say something here but it probably would be considered movie spoilers. How does one go about using spoiler tags here? (or do we use them here?)

Alright, no help, so I'll just say it. Warning: spoilers ahead!

I was looking at the IMDB listing for Dark Knight rises earlier today. Seems like all I really saw in the trailer was Batman, Bane, Gordon, and Catwoman. But. . .IMDB has Liam Neeson as part of the cast. So I think we'll finally get that Movie Masters Ra's al Ghul here. Maybe he'll be one of the other figures with that Batsignal CNC. Also there's a listing for "Young Talia al Ghul" and another character that is probably grown-up Talia working under an alias. So I'm hoping we get Movie Masters Ra's, Talia, Alfred, and Lucius. And as a side note, I was geeked to see Christopher Judge is in the cast! Teal'c!!!

Sweet action!

BBTS has preorders up for DKR Movie Masters

Here's the menu.
Series 1 has Batman, Bane and. . . ALFRED!!! I'm so excited!

They kinda skipped listing Series 2. . .??? But there's a listing for "Blake" and a "TBD Secret Figure" (I'm betting it's Ra's)

Series 3 adds Catwoman.

I looked at a different online seller and it had these listed as series 1 and 2; no mention of series 3. And at neither vendor did the case assortments mention this (John) Blake figure or the secret character; just listed them individually.

A Michael Caine Alfred action figure... I can live with that. Hopefully he is packaged with some cool butler accessories.

Customizers too will likely be glad to have a versatile tuxedo figure buck.

Just found this up at Amazon. Of course I'll be waiting 'till he hits my area or the price here drops down to retail (for however long that lasts)

Putting this up 'cause the prices fluctuate all the time. So I suggest haunting this page until we get retail pricing directly from Amazon. It's what happened with me for Catwoman. Still waiting on Blake....
