Maybe slightly retooled, but it looks the same. I did a little snooping on ebay and one seller had a pic of Bane's cardback. Looks like there is two waves ofr 3 figures. First wave is just Bane, Alfred, and batman, like you said. And only one Bane and one Alfred per case, just dumb.
The cardback showed the BatSignal and had three of the 6 parts highlighted to show the three parts available in the first wave, Second wave will most likely have the remaining three parts. If I had to guess, I'd say CatWoman, the clean cut kid (don't know the actor or the character), and maybe Gordon, since they have him tooled from the two pack, a singkle card release would get sales and not cost them money to make a new figure sculpt. It seems Mattel doesn't have much budget for BatMan, so it's not unreasonable to recycle figures. Alfred is just Dent with a new head, etc. But Ra's Al Gul would have been sweet. |

Yeah, Bane is pretty damn nice, sculpt-wise. I definitely want one.
I'll try and score the Bat Signal parts solo from the figures I don't want. Knock Out ain't bad either! Last edited by BigHanksCustoms; 05-19-2012 at 08:04 PM.. |

Don't quote me but I think there is also that clean cut kid from the previews. Possibly a Catwoman in a later wave.
They are doing a BAF/CnC Bat Signal, so there must be at least six different molds/decos. You will have to buy six different figures to complete the Bat Signal. Other than Alfred and Bane, the Bat Signal is the only reason I'm even contemplating completing the series.

Are the DKRs in/come in 3.75"? I know DK did but I never actually saw those ones in stores.

There is both a 6 inch "Movie masters" line and a basic 3 3/4 inch line (same limited articulation as Green Lantern figures) Saw the basics today at TRU, very unimpressed.

You aren't kidding. If they even had elbows and knees, I'd pick up a couple. The worst part is they do come with great gadgets (although oddly enough, scaled for 6 inch figures) so I'm torn. I might grab a couple for the capes and heads for customs so I can get some decent gear (grappling gun, batarangs, etc.) for my 6 inch Batman figures.
These are most definitely future ROSS fodder..... |

saw them again just now- ot only suckass articulation but, like the GL figs, the lower body is mis-proportioned. The legs are probablt a quarter inch too short.
What you can do is but the basic black Batman and swap parts with a GI Joe Accelerator Suit Duke untill you have a nicely articulated Batman worth displaying with your collection. ![]() |
