Not sure about the new armor design, but the toy sculpt doesn't look too bad, would be nice to see it in a better pose though.

The sculpt is interesting. The design isn't my cup of tea though. It's almost too extremis/bleeding edge superimposed over the moderately standard armors.

Thankfully this isn't whatever the main line will end up as. It's only got 3 pts of articulation and a light up chest. I can't even guess at the height.
Probably just an early prototype or discount line.

I'm not digging a lot of the character designs coming out of Hollywood lately.

Looks like one of those ten inch tall gimmick figures they think kids like. Not at all interested in it, and while I'm not a huge fan of the armor design, it is kinda cool. I look forward to seeing it's 3-3/4" and 6" action figures, as well as the many armor variants stores will inevitably be showered with next year. Some of which might actually be worth getting, lol...

As for the mini muggs, interesting, but easy passes.

Meh too much gold. It's probably one of those 10-12 inch gimmicky things.

What. I figured Hasbro would at least show a 4" articulated figure.

Going to say 3 things:
#1 Mini Muggs are still more poseable than Avengers figures
#2 The 3.75 in. line better not be as bad as the Avengers line (and have better articulation)
#3 If they mess up on the "Iron Patriot" War Machine or Mandarin figures I will never buy from Hasbro again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit disappointed that we're getting teeny weeny "Micro Muggs" rather than the 3-inchers, but I see their logic, with "blind bagged" figures being so popular at the moment. If only they had neck articulation I may have picked some up.

You're saying they won't have the 3.75 in. line?

I meant the 3 inch Mini Muggs like they released for the Avengers movie, not the 3.75" Marvel Universe type figures. I'm pretty certain they'll do a range of those.

The IM2 line had a pretty good representation in 3.75 scale so hopefully this is the case for IM3.

OT: not really a fan of the new look but will give it a chance.

Design's not that bad. Definitely reminds me of Extremis (there may be a reason for that).

I'll wait until more pics surface regarding the full line before I make a call on the toy, though.
