Been a while. I didn't really work on much through the summer, but a couple months ago I started picking customs back up again. Time opened up a little and I had a list of guys I wanted to finish. At the top of that list was this guy. Ever since I first saw Wolverine I knew I wanted a figure of Ryan Reynolds portrayal of Deadpool. Unfortunately, they never made one. We got Weapon 11 instead. And with the release of the Green Lantern figures I finally got the perfect head.

Pulling this guy off was slightly tricky, but my favorite customs are the ones that take more physical work. I dremeled the head to fit, but slipped and messed up the hair a bit, so instead of leaving it I repainted to a full black. I added sculpt to the shoulders to turn the wifebeater into a full shirt. Fitting the Gen Hawk lower legs onto the Wolverine body took a few tries, but I finally got it to work. The swords, however, are a bit small for his hands. So, posing him with them in his hands took some careful positioning. But, they're still a good resemblance to the ones he had in the movie. I forgot about the holster being strapped to his leg, so I ended up adding one rather last minute.

Recipe:

Head - Green Lantern Movie Hal Jordan
Body - WO Comic Logan
Holster/Lower Legs - GIJoe ROC Gen Hawk
Straps - Ribbon
Sheaths - WO Comic Deadpool
Swords - GIJoe 25th Storm Shadow (I think)

Oh yeah. Sure. I'll try to work it out. For some reason no matter what I did he's been getting a worse glare straight on than others. But I'll try to get some up in a couple days.

Sorry this took so long. But here you go. Clearer front and back shots, with a closeup of the head, too.

From the Green Lantern movie line. The bodies are crap, but the flight suit Hal Jordan is a pretty nice rendition of Ryan Reynolds. Better than I expected.
