I was able to get the Arkham Origins Batman for that price. I think he looks better than the Arkham Knight version.

This clearance is another indication making me wonder how the MV line has been doing for Mattel. I've been tracking eBay listings for the heck of it, and the Joker and Harley figures don't seem to be selling for the prices the sellers want (at least $15). And I still have not seen the latest MV figures in stores.

Zod is the only one I ever see at retail anymore >.< I think before that there was a City Batman and a Bane at a K-Mart, but other than that, it's Zod, Zod everywhere.

Some people just don't seem to want a fashionable
Villian for their kids.

I see Zod and Devito Penguin the most. Deadshot also comes to mind as another MV figure I see stagnating on the pegs.

black mask is still lifted at some pretty hefty prices on the bay. Hope we at least get the rest of the stuff shown so far specially the two packs.

Is TRU actually clearancing the figures? My TRU has a peg and a half of Zod's with a regular price tag of $6.99, not the red clearance tag on stuff actually marked clearance.

Most Targets have raised the DCMV prices to $12.99 for the 3.75in
Odd considering TRU dropped the price to $6.99
makes for an interesting year ahead...

Which figures since Target is the place I usually find the newer figures. Sucks there isn't a TRU close buy.

I hate to speculate negatively, but I wonder if this is it for the MV after the figures based on Arkham Knight. Because, logically, Mattel probably wants to move on to Batman v Superman.

That would be a year and a half with little on store shelves.
I fully expect to see at least 1 more wave after Arkham Knight for Fall/Winter.
Heck they could still squeeze 1 maybe 2 more waves from Arkham series.
1. Ra's al Ghul*
2. Lady Shiva*
3. Poison Ivy
4. Penguin
5. Talia*
6. Riddler
7. Mad Hatter
8. Firefly
9. Copperhead
10. Strange(eh, not likely from Mattel though)

*Still think a second 4pack with Ra's, Talia, Shiva and a Ninja Bruce would be amazing.

I do needs me a Ra's, Penguin, Ivy, and Riddler.

As long as it's the same style/quality as the Mutliverse figures under the Superman/Batman logo fine by me. They can always start it back up at a later time.

Zod has become a bit of a peg warmer here too. I have not seen that joker wave, but I'm kind of holding out hope to find a date night pack. Still want that black mask, tho. I'll take just about any arkham characters especially poison ivy and Hugo strange.

I think Multiverse should be the base for BvsS 3.75 line, why clog pegs with hundreds of rainbow Batmen and Supermen(TDKR & MoS lines) as a separate line when they already have a solid foundation as is.

Maybe just change up the Multiverse packaging a tad to make it relate more to the movie, nothing crazy just something like changing the cardback to blue.

And BvsS vehicles would be similarly Multiverse labelled.
Evergreen can continue as is with maybe movie themed figures here and there for the much younger kids(similar to the Beware the Batman styled figure they slipped in.)

This would help Mattel a lot, it isn't another fight for shelf space that is only valuable to you for a month or two and then all the remainder get clearanced.
In March do 1 or 2 waves for BvsS, followed by a comic wave or something else .
Then in August a Suicide Squad wave then its back to comics or whatever again until the next DC movie in 2017.

Indeed. I'd really like a good 3.75 figure of both the Batfleck suits.

I'm kinda hoping that they use Multiverse as a new "Movie Master" type of line for the new movies. Still release a traditional kid-aimed line of figures, but also release a wave, or two, of Multiverse Movie Masters for the collectors.

Though no-matter what they call it, I just really want 3-3/4" figures based on the new movies that are on-par with the Multiverse figures. Also, the inevitable Batmobile, Multiverse or not, is going to be a must-have.

Yes but tru also had MU figures for clearance In the past when that line was still strong and every jan and feb would have two for one sales. Hopefully that means tru will be getting the next wave when they restock

More than likely, there will be a separate BvS brand line, like what Mattel did for MoS and TDK/TDKR.

I myself would love to see the MV continue (a Poison Ivy would be top on my personal want list). I just wonder how well the MV is doing for Mattel... will the upcoming release of the Arkham Knight game increase interest? Will special packs, including the Date Night, still be released? (I could see the Gotham thugs repaint variants cancelled, but that would be fine -- who wants them, anyway?)

My vague sense is that the MV has done decent enough for Mattel, but it could be ended in order for Mattel to ramp up their focus (marketing, manufacturing, distribution) for BvS, Suicide Squad and Justice League movies.

I'd love to get a Multiverse figure of Faora from MoS.

You know the fight scene between Faora w/ the big guy against Superman is so under rated-I thought it was done really well. I would absolutely love a Faora figure in Multiverse form.

Both Faora and Zod would be great. Though I don't see Mattel doing either on their own, so maybe in a multi-pack? How about a Man of Steel equivalent of the upcoming Date Night 4-pack? Could be Superman, Lois Lane, Zod, and Faora.

Also, if Doomsday is the big-bad in Batman v Superman, they could do him as one of those larger figures like they're doing for Croc, Grundy, and Clayface.
