It does kind of make sense for them to end the line now so they can focus on the movie lines. Figure on one more wave of figures before the anticipated sdcc reveal for the movie. Hopefully it contaims some prescence for a 3.75 inch line. And that its somewhat better than Man of Steel and Green Lantern crap

Bring Nightwing/Croc 2 pack then cancel the line! Or just don't cancel the line...

Crap I want a Deathstroke. Don't tell me they will cancel it as well. I can understand the guys that want Nightwing but don't neglect the Deatstroke fans

Since they didn't cancel my pre-order either I'm guessing he will be out at some point. Would be good during this month. I will be in US end of the month and I can bring it with me.

Those were the 3 that stayed up, the deathstroke, batman beyond, Adam west

So there may be hope for deathstroke yet

Okay. The rage has been tempered a little now since I saw that Nightwing/Croc is up for preorder on Amazon.

Still don't know what to make of all this though.

It's strange because that wave was seen by almost everyone out on retail (except that Zeppelin figure). So why discontinue it and not the new ones coming out?

I don't know it's all just a big mess. And I figured "Zeppelin" was Arkham Knight?

Maybe you're right, if that's the case then they are all out on retail now...

This is getting confusing. I'm going to go on a road trip and get all of the ones I've passed on now. I just hope they still release that Arkham City Catwoman and Nightwing/Croc. If the next few waves were just going to be "detective mode" repacks I'm not gonna lose any sleep. Maybe the Arkham Knight game delay (06/2015 now) snake bit this line. Seemed to sell pretty well except for Zod. I think I'll go ahead and snag a Zod now.

Good luck bro, hope you find them all! I just might have to do the same thing. I'll check that Mattel store, I bet they're going to end up there...

Nightwing/Croc was definitely up for pre-order on Amazon yesterday so I'd hope it's a lock. Not so sure about the Date Night pack.

It does appear Mattel is ditching the MV in order to ramp up their focus on the Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad movies. Let's hope that 4" figures prominently in their toys.

So it would also appear this is why ReAction were able to get Arrow and Flash. Those DC TV shows, along with Gotham and the upcoming Supergirl, seemed like they would have been no-brainers for Mattel to do for the MV line. But, alas! The only 4" option for these shows will be the bad and anachronistic retro style of ReAction.

So we are def losing at least sic figures: Nightwing, KC, Arkham Catwoman, Arkham Penguin, Riddler and unmasked batman.

As for green lantern I dont buy it Zepplin is the name of the graphics engine for Arkham Knight. It wouldnt make sense to have the "Zeppelin" character be someone not in the game.

Does this mean we could see that dcc 3.75 new 52 line? That would seem to perfect to slate fans while keeping the movies at arms length.

Even if we get 4'' figures they will have crap articulation and will come with those gimmicks for kids. This line was for collector reason why it had some articulation.

I personally thought many of the figures for The Dark Knight were pretty good -- a compromise for kids and collectors. The original Batman and Selena Kyle are some of my personal favorites. (Bane has to be the worst, though.) I personally prefer good sculpting and unique faces over having more than 5 POA if that's the trade-off.

But the Man of Steel line was terrible. I hope this doesn't bode badly for the BvS and SS line if Mattel will do 4" for these movies.

Well, to eulogize the MV line (assuming it's finished, though maybe we're jumping to assumptions), here's what would have been my "dream" MV wave of most-wanted figures:

Arrow, Flash, young Selena "Cat" Kyle, and Supergirl from their respective TV shows.

John Constantine (from the NBC series), and Liv (from the iZombie series).

Jack Nicholson Joker.

Jim Carrey Riddler.

What would you guys have wanted the most?

My last wave would be a small screen JL: Linda Carter Wonder Woman, Adam West Batman, Burt Ward Robin, new guy Flash, new guy Green Arrow, and Dean Cain Superman.

As meh as the movie was I wouldn't be opposed to Multiverse movie versions of Hal, Sinestro, Tomar-Re, Kilowog, and Abin Sur.

I would love a Heath ledger joker... Guy won an Oscar for a comic movie which is almost impossible. Of course he'd need a bale batman, oldman Gordon, TDK 2 face, etc. maybe a nurse joker variant.

TRU still has multiverse figures on sale for $5. Get them while you can.
