DC 3.75/4" Appreciation Thread

I remember seeing that version of The Joker for the first time and being absolutely horrified, when they gave him the purple suit I warmed to him a little though.

Over the years Ive actually really come to like that version (yeah apart from the hair) and would like to see Joker use different outfits more often these days. I like the fact that Joker from the Suicide Squad movie has already been seen in 3 different getups.

Hes the Joker, why would he stick to one look/suit all the time?

That show as a whole seems to get a lot of undeserved criticisms. I loved the first 4 seasons but all the team-ups in the last season were a little eh. The episode that introduces Robin was hands down one of the best introductions for Dick Grayson I think I've ever seen. And as goofy as the premise is The Batman vs Dracula is an awesome movie.

What I liked about The Batman series were Batgirl and Poison Ivy. The girl version of Ivy in the Gotham show sort of brings to my mind The Batman version (but without her powers).

Never watched an episode of that. No real reason - may have had something to do where I was in my life at the time I'm not sure. Did you watch any of the most recent Batman? The one with Katana? I think it has already been canceled.

I did and bought the two DVDs. It ended up being really really good. Cartoon Network just decided to bury it for absolutely no reason.

One more month and no sign of Deatstroke. BBTS once again changed the expected date of the pre-orders to June. I don't know how many delays this wave had already.

That's a bummer to hear. Definitely looking forward to getting a Deathstroke in this size. Missed out on getting the Injustice version but since they made him from Origins (easily my favorite looking) I'm kinda glad I did.

Well looks like there's going to be another Batman Unlimited movie and the plot doesn't sound any better than the last one.

I know these are for kids but aside from the voice cast that first movie was pretty bad. When we were kids we had Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker. Watching those now they were pretty intense but a child could enjoy them alongside their parents. I used to watch BTAS with my dad everyday and he enjoyed it as much as I did.

I didnt think it was that bad but I see what you are saying mate, I still watch the Bruce Timm+Paul Dini Batman/DC toons - nothing has touched them yet IMO.

The head is from the Re:Action figure from the Arrow line they did.
