Thanks but it's just Origins Joker with the lips redone, the shirt painted purple, and the white added to his shoes. Oh and I gave him some better hands so he can hold a couple of knives. Always gotta have the knives hidden up his sleeves.
Bane on the other hand is a painted up MU Apocalypse with X-Men Evolution Sabretooth's upper arms and Batman & Robin Bane's head. I think YJ Joker was okay but there was something that just seemed off about his look. Like they were trying to make him look like a hipster or something. Still it would've been cool if he was in more than one episode though. Last edited by snake5289; 07-10-2015 at 08:12 PM.. |

I would have loved a shrunken down/1:18th scale '66 Batman line. 6 inch figures are not that popular in my immediate area. Walmart is clearancing their 6 inch Star Wars figures for $15. They already cleared out their '66 6 inch scale figures. Walmart Target & Meijer have ML figures falling off the pegs because there are so many. Meijer still has some old ML figures like Fantomex & Hope. The G.I. Joe rumor is false. At Joecon a friend of mine asked the Hasbro rep about it. It won't go anywhere because Joe is usually associated with vehicles. Many 6 inch vehicles are just too expensive. |

Slightly off-topic but germane to what I was discussing about the toy industry's apparent love for 6": Hasbro announced a Black Series TIE Fighter from The Force Awakens. It's designed to seat a 6" figure. UGH! My cynical predictions about 4" scale in general being phased out may be coming true!
![]() The whole industry is moving towards BIG -- 6", 7", 12" and even BIGGER. What is this: Action figures for giants? |

I hate hearing fan's of a particular scale complain but this is getting twisted. Currently for DC there's Icons, Movie Masters, 66 Batman, BTAS, collect and connect, basic collection, Arrow and Flash.
I am sure I am forgetting some. Total heroes seem a little big right? I was hoping we would at least see some bad 5 poa figures for Bvs and really hoped for the unproduced dc collectibles comic line. Joes dead. Dc is dead. Marvel is on E liat characters.the only new figirea coming are reaction from funko. I may very well end my collecting days. |

I know it's kind of late, but has anyone tried white out the eyes for Nightwing? I tried it and thought it was a real improvement!

I did it to Batman and it is a definite improvement.
I wish I could figure out how to still see his eyes but have the white lenses over them. Like when he's looking a the screen coming out of his gauntlet. That looks so awesome. |

So now that we know the line is dead does anyone have any post mortem thoughts?
I was thrilled with the figures we did get. Reeves Superman and Harley are the ones I am most happy with. Personally I feel the line was mainly used as a marketing tool for the Arkham games. Much like G.I. Joe Retaliation I think the delay in AK, combined with the dock workers strike led directly to the death of the line. Any thoughts on the future? How to make a new line successful? Maybe the DCC line that was shown? I think that's the only thin we have any chance of seeing before 2017. |

If anything, the articulation wasn't amazing but it was leagues ahead of the 5 POA that Mattel was known for so I am happy. I was hoping for more progression in this scale like ,marvel universe did in their golden age of adding more articulation and changing bucks, but like I said, Mattel stepped up thier game by competing. |

For the size I think they had amazing detail. Origins Batman is easily my favorite from what I own. It may be ending but I still plan to track down the last of the villains I'm missing.
I just wish they could at least do one more wave to knock out the last few Arkham characters that were major players. Mainly Ra's, Ivy, Riddler, Talia, Strange, and maybe another two-pack with Asylum Bane. |

So for the second time a DC 3.75-4 inch line dies before we get Batgirl. Ugh if they ever launch another line in this scale she needs to be in the first wave. Wonder Woman too so sad we didn't get a Linda Carter WW out of multiverse or a BvS one.

To get another good 3.75 line, we really would need another game franchise or preferably a cartoon to go with it. Movie based figures are on par with movie based games- rushed out the door, cutting as many corners as possible to meet deadlines. I won't get my hopes up until I hear of a cartoon that can generate consistent interest from children as well as collectors.

That'll never happen while a huge chunk of fans still can't get over the fact that the 90s series is cancelled. I'm a huge fan of it own the big asss collector box set but I can still find pleasure in nnew stuff. Most cannot or will not for whatever reason. Same with spiderman. I didn't watch ultimate because of what others thought of it but in all honesty its pretty good. Simple fun with an ADHD spiderman once you get past that and just sit back and relax its pretty damn good.

Cartoon Network up and pulling shows off the schedule for no reason whatsoever doesn't help. Beware the Batman should have run for at least another season. I didn't even get to see Two-Face without the bandages on his face for crying out loud.
And for the record I tried on multiple occasions to like Ultimate Spidey but I just couldn't. I watched all the Wolverine episodes, the Blade episodes, and the first episode that had Dr. Doom. I liked the guest heroes fine but could not stand Spider-Man. It felt like they turned him into Peter Griffin. I agree 100% but good luck with that. |

The wonder woman figure is IMHO themail best figure in the IH line.
If they don't have a justice League TV series to go with the movies they're completely inept. The initial Marcell Universe figures came out without TV or movie support. They need to start a line with a list characters in the first few waves and then bring in secondaries. Also go straight 1/18 scale. Superman and Batman should be at least 4 inches. |

Sorry about the double post. Apparently Mattel reps SaI'd that aside from what has been seen and the batmobile they are moving away from the 4 inch scale. They are not ruling out anything in the future but have no plans on the table at this time.
It was in the figures.com coverage. They switched multiverse to 6 inch scale |

We know we're getting Catwoman and Knightfall Batman at Walgreens. However, there's Arkham Knight Penguin and an unmasked Batman (not Keaton) in the display as well. Have we heard anything about those?
Really sucks that we can't manage to get Batgirl and Poison Ivy. I hope they open the door back up for 4 inch in the future. |

Those two are definitely at the top of my most wanted list right next to Ra's. It's a longshot but I suppose anything is possible.
