That was probably me. Can't locate my pictures of the process anymore, but I think I posted about it in page 40-50 of this thread, assuming you use default forum displays.

The gist of it is to drill a tiny hole in the shoulder socket, and a matching one on the inner shoulder of the arm, then insert a twisty-tie (cut to length) into both pieces and secure in place with glue. If it's a thin twisty-tie, fold it over to help make it a more snug fit inside the pieces before gluing.

The fix should allow the figure the same range of movement as it had originally, and could possibly even increase it depending on the figure itself.

Thanks! So, does the twisty tie do the bending when you position the arm up and down?

It was weird seeing the blue X-ray Batman and Bane variants peg warming like crazy in TRU today. Are they somewhat rare in any way?

You know, even if it would only have 5 POA, I wish the Green Lantern Animated series had an action figure line. I want Razer and Aya.

Would have been cool so long as they didn't do that weird young justice arm pose in them.

Indeed. Who thought that was a good idea? I would've gotten some of those if it wasn't for that.

I honestly think it was someone who thought the heroes were all suicidal. Bad jioke I know but seriously they do look like their ready to cut themselves or their wrists

Finished him this weekend. I'm waiting for some clear stands I ordered. I will then take some pictures.

Ye I fixed my first one. Basically you have to use some GI Joe figure articulation discs. I suggest a 25th or related Lady J and use the forearms. you have to cut the plastic in order to remove them. Do the same in WW broken discs. Cut one side only. You probably have to trim a bit the Lady J discs because they are bigger. Once done slide it inside and glue the pin that goes inside the disc.

It's a bit hard to explain it with words only, but check some GI Joe forums, they often replace the articulation discs so that they don't have to paint it and this way avoid the paint chip. The procedure is more or less the same.

I think I will do that. Thanks! My only concern was if the glue would be able to handle the torque from arm positioning. After all, I play with my figures. If others have had success, though, I will give it a go. Now, time to find a guinea pig...

Pics coming soon of custom Poison Ivy and Cheetah.

Had to sign up for this one. This exclusive Atrocitus has a "F$#* YOU!" face. Pretty good sculpting for a 4-inch figure.

As its soft plastic a good super glue will make it almost impossible to come off. If you were gluing hard plastic yes the risk of such thing to happen would be big. By the way you don't have to do anything to the pins on the Lady J discs, they go inside and stay secure the torso just fine. Off course put the torso in hot water before inserting the arms in, this will ease the process.

That is reassuring about the soft plastic. I usually use a hair dryer to warm up figures, probably due to my fear of screws getting rusty on old gi joes when I was younger. Just something about placing figures in water...

No, I don't think so. I've had this figure for a couple of years now. I have the Xmas one too but I just can't find it. It will appear when I'm not looking for it, lol.

Yeah, this year is has been mostly a bummer for 1:18 collecting in general. Too many steps in the wrong direction. I'm still impatiently waiting for that Arkham Catwoman at Walgreens.

So now that even Lego has their Dimensions video game, which appears to have playable mini sets as game pieces, hopefully that aspect catches on with other brands and things can start looking up for this scale of toys. The 1:18 scale would be perfect for a star wars or gi joe or dc or marvel video game where the toy that goes on the platform could be a well articulated and removable action figure, and that could even justify a higher cost because the figure is also a playable character. I know this idea isn't new to adult collectors, but video games appear to be slowly taking things in the right direction.
