We could have gotten some amazing figures if the line held out for just a little while longer.

After feeling the massive disappointment from SDCC I needed something uplifting. Luckily the first 3 trades of New 52 Aquaman I ordered off of Amazon came in the other day and damn did they do the trick.

So damn good.

I'm honestly wanting to buy something DC 3 3/4 inch with all of my current disappointment with the state of DC figures in our scale. I might buy the Reaction Flash since he has some super cheap deals and I want him for scale reference.

I'm probably about to try and make that Shazam I was talking about. Seems like any time I'm frustrated or dealing with depression I start working on a figure. Turns out it's actually a pretty therapeutic hobby.

Could they please just get an original name for their 6 inch DC stuff? Multiverse works much better as the generalizing name for 3 3/4 inch figures(kinda like how MU has stuck around despite the rebrandings).

Something I never thought of up until now is that we might get some new Injustice 2 packs since the second game is coming out. I'm sure DC Collectibles would jump on it because of the massive amount of positive feedback from the old Injustice figures and because of the fact that they'd want to make up for not making those 3.75" N52 figures even though they clearly won the poll.

we were so close to a Black Manta

I would rather have Rebirth 3.75 inch figures. A lot of those costumes are close to the classics.

Dammit, I'm getting angry just looking at that image! If that figure made it through we would have had at least one Aquaman villain.

We're severely lacking in the villains department in this scale of DC figures.

EDIT: I cross referenced the Black Manta image on Google and found all of these. Out of all of these the Golden Age Batman feels the worst. I'll never be able to live with myself without having it. Why weren't these figures made?

Also, according to this old Toyark article, these prototypes were on eBay. Do you guys know of anyone who knows a guy who knows a guy that could cast the heads for these figures?

McD had a 4 figure Bat set which included a decent Catwoman which I was able to custom into Cheetah.

Is that Cass Cain Batgirl! Wtf! Also that Hawkgirl looks great. I'd love to grab these and paint them(though I'd have trouble with the Bat symbol admitedly).
