Mattel did it for the Marvel license says Bloomberg. So we're discussing how past Marvel Universe 3.75 promoter Dave Vonner (now at Mattel) can champion back the greater 3.75 scale. A big MattyCollector Helicarrier by Vonner, doubling as a Top Gun 2020 carrier by Bobby Vala, is as possible as a Jabba Barge. Feel free to add to that idea or the discussion here.

Hi, everyone. Love the thread, follow the chatter and would like to be involved. Been a huge Batman fan since the sandbox and have continued collecting DC figures through the years and even got into customizing. Im nowhere near as versed in some of the marketing techniques and company differences as some of you, but it's all interesting stuff, especially since Hasbro and Mattel have seemingly ditched 3.75 products, which is my main interest.i have lots of customs I'd like to share and join in the conversations if the group is cool with it. You could make a mold of Orm's head and cast it for other figures. The Manta figure sucks because he doesn't even look where he is shooting, but you could recast his head as well.

Just FYI, Amazon's got some Hiya Injustice 2 figures back up for pre-order(some of them went down after a while). Same price as before, and with the possibility of free shipping if your order is high enough(which usually means $25 or more).

Thank you for this! I had mine pre-ordered at BBTS, but I'm a Prime member, and I just trust Amazon's process more. Not that BBTS is a bad store, I'm just a little gun shy about ordering online from a lot of different places. I've got all seven on pre-order from Amazon now.

I long for the day when this thread is primarily back to being about actual, currently-produced-and-sold 1:18 DC character action figures. I'm glad at least Hiya is making these.

That said, I saw this guy on clearance at my Gamestop, and I realized what a great Ra's al Ghul he would make. Ra's costume has morphed so much, he could pretty much be a straight repaint of the Collector. FYI, all the clearance at Gamestops (around middle TN, anyway) have gone to 50% off, rather than B1G1 as they were a few days ago.

So here they are in hand not as bad as u think but hey u gotta work with what u have ... I want some doubles so i can paint them to look better if anyone know some casters so i can send em my orm so they could cast his head hopefully i find black manta cause that head also looks good

I know I used a Young Justice Mcdonalds toy for my Previous Manta custom.

Would depend on what figure you put it on. As it is one piece head and body, it may be hollow.

God I wish we were getting Young Justice Season 3 toys. The old ones scale well as "adult" versions of the characters, but there's some new chars that would be fun to have.

Just a WIP, but I used the dremel on the BK Manta figure to cut the head off and it looks pretty good on the Fortnite Omega body. Got a second Manta coming to see if I can dremel it off a little better.

Five Below has some of the Schleich DC Comic 2pks(Batman vs Bane, Superman vs Lex Luther). Picked up the Luther pack for the headsculpt which is a perfect size for the new MTF Agency Ops figures(skin tones are slightly different) and although the price tag has them for $5, they actually rang up at $3.
