Anybody get the new Hiya Flash or Wonder Woman? I'm trying to decide if they're worth it. They look good but I'm all too familiar with Hiya's brittle joints

I was just coming here to see if anyone else has pending orders for Wonder woman and Joker figures arriving tomorrow. I’m assuming it’s another error, but that’s when mine are supposed to come. No shipping notice as of yet.

My experience with the Hiya figures has been that they are pretty decent quality. I’m not crashing them into each other like army men or anything, but they pose and hold up very well.

I haven't had any problems with mine.
I did order Wonder Woman & Flash but I'm still waiting for them.

Where can I get the Flash/Wonder Woman for a non-crazy price? They're charging $40 on eBay. Preferable somewhere in the EU/UK.

If Amazon is an option I saw Wonder Woman for 19.99 and Flash for 24.99.

I preordered them from BBTS and Amazon. Cancelled them when Hiya got them in stock. Three weeks still waiting. Now Amazon has them in stock. It's like how you change lanes on the highway and the lane stops moving.

or in the grocery store. Your lane is always the one not moving until you switch, then it moves.

I ordered from Hiya about the time i mentioned a page ago that they had some new figs instock. I recieved them about a week ago from today (they gave no tracking number or email but i knew they were otw). They look exactly as advertised and to me the WW is a must have cause the only other options aren't that great. I have not had any trouble with Joints from hiya figures... tell i got the flash figure which his arm broke off as soon as i tried to bend it. My WW and Joker are fine joint wise.

Totally agree, she IS a MUST-HAVE. Other similar scaled Wonder Woman options aren't nearly as 'wonderful'.

I just received the Hiya Wonder Woman and am very pleased with the figure.

Height-wise she stands roughly equal to a Boss Fight Studios Amazon. While her head sculpt & hands are small and her forearms thin comparatively.

I recommend precaution with initial posing in case of stuck joints.

Speaking of joints, her neck and head (barbell joint) is smaller than Boss Fight so there isn't any direct head-sculpt swapping without some custom work.

Only thing I don't care for is I'm not a fan of her default look.

Does her whip remove? Or are her only accessories the sword, shield, and hands?

Her lasso is affixed (pegged in and glued to the hip).

Her accessories are the alternate pair of open-handed hands, a sword, a shield, a foot stand (along with pieces to connect other HIYA Injustice foot stands together) and a backdrop card.

I got her yesterday. I love her but I plan to swap out the shield and sword. They're too small for my taste.

How about switching out her legs with Boss Fight versions? That way she would be closer to her original look if it works.
I was also thinking about switching out the forearms/arms because I am not too thrilled with that long bracer.

i've not tried any other joint swapping beyond the head sculpt.

However, the hip t-crotch joints are different sizes between the two with the HIYA ball/socket joints and leg thighs being thicker. It's possible.

As for the forearms, they appear more plausible to swap. Apart from the skin tone paint differences between HIYA and Boss Fight, the socket looks similar while the Boss Fight elbow pegs are thicker.

Hope that helps.

Wondy's alt hands were a pain in the everything to get on. I had to widen the slots and even then had trouble.

I honestly don't get how shipping works, btw. I got charged and notified about shipment of Diana and Joker same-day from BBTS. Instead of shipping them in the same box, they shipped in two different ones. Wasteful, but okay, whatever.

I got Diana today, and Joker's tracking info says he'll be here Friday at the earliest. Both shipped at the same time from the same location. Diana showed up in my state Monday night while Joker's been fucking around in Oregon for three days.

You got it easy. My EE package left the warehouse in Grapevine last Thursday, a 6 hour drive away but has not arrived or been updated in tracking. EE has already reimbursed postage, mostly out of embarrassment I think because they can't find it either.

I ordered my WW and Flash direct from Hiya. That was 31 days ago. No tracking info. My Amazon WW I order two weeks ago and had in two days.
