mega gear line = waste of plastic. I regret buying the brawnze tiger one.

Mega Gear maybe a waste yet it's one way to find rare figs. If done well it can be better. Here's another rare figure for a "Mega" rerelease. Lex with more / better armor...

I just ordered one to see what I get. That Copperhead is pretty neat at $11.00, and I figure if they send the Clayface set instead, I can always return it.

Yeah, same boat. I almost pulled the trigger because I'm all about nostalgia with this line and nothing is as toy nostalgic as a playset, but waiting also gives me time to make room for it.

Yep. I skipped the Tiger one and if I don't find the single pack version, it's no big loss to me. I actually feel that way about Talon, Firefly, Green Lantern and etc too. I'm having too much trouble finding stuff now anyway and that's dampening my enthusiasm. I kinda feel like I'm good with what I have, and I refuse to feed scalpers. Especially for what are literally children's toys. The $8 single-pack pricepoint is appropriate for what they are, but anything above that is a joke.

Same here. Cool that it was so cheap. I ordered the bat cycle with clay face in amazon for 10 something. Every now and then, a mistake actually benefits the collector.

Saw at Target today, a new exclusive Spinmaster pack of purple suit Joker, a blue/gray Batman repaint, and I believe a blue repaint of the cycle from the Clayface pack.

I still think the King Shark Mega Gear is pretty nice. He looks cool with or without the armor but yea most of them could be better.

Lex Luthor would make a great Mega Gear figure if done correctly.

Thinking specifically about the Lex wave, I’m sure the toys themselves exist out there somewhere. Maybe they’ll pop up at Ross or Ollies eventually. I’ve never been one to drop cash on scalper toys. I’ll either find em reasonably priced or just not get them. This line repaints enough I’m sure the bigger names will cycle back through soon enough.

Cool! Strong Super Friends/Powers vibe. "Meanwhile, back at the Hall of Justice..."

I gotta admit, these toys really make me want a Hall o' Justice. Fingers crossed the Batcave playset sells well, because if it tanks, no way they're doing a Hall playset. Maybe I won't wait for clearance to buy the Batcave...

I'm not impressed with the Batcave-under-an-alley playset

I believe it will fail because the Batcave has been done to death. DC licensees need to look at other options.

I like it. Reminds me of the albino look he had on The Batman.

Why is it 6 inch figures seem to have much better distribution...

I finally found a Public Enemies Gorilla Grodd.

I wonder how the Spin Master version will be?

I broke down and picked up Talon, Firefly and Bronze Tiger from a eBayer, 35 shipped which is a 6 dollar profit, I would guess, for them. I can live with that, that seems fair, considering the trash distribution in the area.

Now, those people asking for 60 bucks for one figure...

I think Spin Master Gorilla Grodd will be OK. They have been making him bigger & bigger every time. He isn't King Kong & shouldn't be that large.

This doesn't look good for any of those DCC comic figures from happening. I would have liked an Etrigan.

as far as I'm concerned they've been dead since they stopped making 3.75/4 figures so...
