Get the old 90's GL PVC sets off eBay for that- they are all PERFECT 1:18 and guys like Jon, Hal, Kyle, Alan and Guy can all have their heads cut off and drilled for headswaps.

Picked up this loose armored Joy Toy figure. With the bald head, looks like a good base for Lex in armor.

But Joy Toy heads run a tad small, but a larger head makes him fit in better with other lines.

I'm still amazed at how good the Spin Master Lex looks. And the Joy Toy has a kind of "this is what the movie version of the armor would look like" look.

Hey, thanks, I'll let my brother know. I'm pretty sure he has a spare Luthor and may want that Batman too.

The pic was moreso in reference to the huge DC Collectibles version to the left. The noggin from the DCIH 3.75 Lex, can work on the huge DC Collectibles figure. Making for an imaginary larger armor. Similar to how the big BaF 6" Hulkbuster armor can be customized with a Tony Stark 3.75 noggin. I hope I'm making sense this time around.

I stopped by Target today to loo for Marvel Retro figures and not surprisingly found none, but did finally spot a Batgirl.

Mine was sitting on the front of the peg. How could I get that lucky?

Careful where you spend that luck. I spent almost all my luck quota on my wife and the rest on properly functioning Walmart shopping carts for the first 40 years of my life. Now all I get are carts that can't turn left. They aren't ambiturners.

More good news/bad news. Still no Marvel retro and I can't even find a peg for them now, Good news is the Batgirl I got last time was replaced with a Mr. Freeze and he was $5.99 to boot.

Would the McFarlane Grodd be too big to fit in this scale?

Yeah, up to you. I compared one in a store to the 4" Spin Master guys hanging next to it, and it looks like it's about twice as tall, so it wouldn't work for me, but you could totally get away with having a giant super mutant gorilla in your world if you're so inclined.
