Really excited about Bane!

If anyone grabs him and Bale, be sure to take a couple size comparison shots with the previous movie figures! I'd majorly appreciate that!

I don't think Spinmaster has officially announced any of this stuff, wonder if they'll do a full push around SDCC

Im literally constantly checking everything for an update.
Im curious about the back of the card as well,

Why in the world does Arkham Catwoman have a bicep swivel when literally nobody else does only to then have that god awful V shaped swivel crotch joint that makes her impossible to stand.

also crazy they completely messed up that head from the prototype

Some of those though.... Like the Arkham Batman figures if they had just a biceps swivel(or the Spinmaster elbows) would have been nearly perfect.

I had so much hope for that line, Arrowverse figures, more movie figures... so upset they didn't do the Injustice figures in that line.

Edit: holy crap 10 years later(Jesus where did the time go) I just realized the prototype for Arkham Catwoman had balljoint hips.... what the heck happened?

I tried but can't post pics, but if you search "Spin Master Bane" on eBay, there's a seller there that has clear pics of both front and back of the card!

Thanks

Seems its just Keaton and Bane for this assortment

Weird thing is they changed the Keaton art from those original leaked photos

Now its just a render of the figure while the others are artworks.

I just read on IG that it was 6 figures per case. Case only had Batman & Bane, and the beakdown was 3 of each character.

The weird selections here open the doors for so many questions and potential

1. Are we getting 2 Nolan villains?(Bane and Joker)

2. Who would they do to go with Keaton
(Fun Spinmaster potential)

3. Who in the world goes with Batfleck
(if for some reason they do Leto Joker, please God be the tuxedo version)

Maybe Deadshot to go with Batfleck? They had that scene together in Suicide Squad.

Man it still sucks we never got the solo Batfleck movie. I really wanted to see it.

Yeah options seem like
BvS Superman-(unlikely)
BvS KGBeast -(nobody cares enough)
SS Deadshot -(possible)
SS Harley -(possible)
SS Joker -(possible)
SS Killer Croc -(less likely, no scene with Batman)
JL Deathstroke -(less likely, no scene with Batman)
BoP Black Mask -(unlikely, not in a movie with Batfleck)
TSS King Shark -(unlikely, not in a movie with Batfleck)

Now if its more than a singular carded figure I think Joker's car from Suicide Squad would be a great option, could do Joker and/or Harley with that

would fit with Spinmaster's stuff but also be pretty different, also give a villain vehicle for all the hero stuff to "chase"

A two-pack with armored Batfleck and Cavill would be awesome. Could even throw in the kryptonite spear.

that very same question haunts me to this day
I'm sure the prototype's feet were better too

Yup I remember those pics. They also had an unmasked Batman and Arkham City Penguin that were never released.

I just don't understand why this keeps happening

Man I swear if the Superman stuff next year is this size I'm not buying it.

The only thing that works imo
1. Batman works a bit better with Robin and the women who were a bit too tall

2. Hoping Batfleck or Bale being talker can make them work with old Multiverse then

Well, Spin Master's Bane looks good. But Mattel made Dollar Store quality toys for the Nolan movies. I mean, I have one of those Banes and he can't even sit properly. Their 5 POA barely 5 POA'ed. Mattel didn't even half it with those Nolanverse figures, they quartered it.

Bane being on the taller side is fine with me since it's Bane but yeah that's pretty disappointing.

my Target has that Clayface
those appendages just are making me second guess getting one
if I could find something to give him regular hands
for an action stance versus Batman would be fine
but if I want to take a pic of him just hanging with some other villains

He also showed in that video review that Batman won't fit in the Flash Batwing

Honestly if Bale or Batfleck scale with Mattel stuff I won't be too upset, at least they'll have some other figures to support them

For anyone wondering about old 89 Batman and Catwoman based on that comparison

They will be much too big to fit as they are decently taller than The Batman, while new Keaton figure is decently shorter than The Batman figure

Its such a bad choice imo.
Like for a kid's line just do hands and then have snap on "weapons"

I kind of like the taller figures, it puts them more in line with the Marvel Universe and Marvel movie figures which are the majority of my collection. I was a little disappointed after The Batman, when the Black Adam stuff was smaller again. But either way, what I’d really like is some consistency!

That comparison pic makes me wish they'd take that The Batman figure and give it a better head sculpt and put it in the 85th line

I'd agree but shifting back and forth sucks,
The issue is just that not enough stuff goes together

Like The Batman just being Batman, Gordon, Catwoman and Penguin.
Then BA, Flash, Beetle and Aquaman are too small but at least its 4 lines of figures together
Now its 3 Batman and at least 1 Penguin that are too tall(maybe fit with The Batman)

Like that Batman can't even fit in the Batwing we just got last year for Keaton Batman in the same company's line in supposedly the same scale.

Now it's a huge question of what the Superman figures next year will be. If they don't scale with current stuff I'm not buying them

Yeah I was looking forward to getting a Hawkgirl to go with the BA Hawkman. Now I'm not so sure it'll work out.

At least Metamorpho can work being on the bigger side like Bane.

Funny the different heights never bothers me much I'm just happy to be getting new stuff especially clayface and joker based off of Jim Lee's hush art.
