Depends on how tall you feel the joker is. for 1/18 scale 4.21 inches would be 6'3". |

That's how tall I'd figure Batman and Superman are. I think Joker should be a bit shorter than that. About 6' or so.

I think they're supposed to come out next month. I'm not a 100% on that though.

Still on the hunt for Devito Penguin, Reeves Superman and Pfeiffer Catwoman. The only DCMV figure I've seen lately is a leftover Deadshot. Everyone else seems to be sold out.
According to the DC Wiki, Joker is 6" even. But we could always pretend the SpruKits version is wearing lifts.

I received the Joker and Superman level 1 Sprukits yesterday.
I am less than impressed. More details later. Basic summary is that its a model of an action figure. And two of the three theatrical jokers were taller than batman. Keaton/Nicholson being the exception and also the shortest pair. |

I think I only saw the armored Batman once or twice months ago, and I'm not sure which figure you mean by "Frozen Freeze Batman". I'm guessing it's one of the Power Attack figures? I haven't seen any of those, other than the Clayface set and gimmick figures, in a couple of months.

I know this may be pedantic and picky, but I've always thought (or wanted to think) that 4" would maybe equal 6 feet in real life.
For example, just glancing what's sitting on my desk: the Bale Batman fig measures to be exactly 4" (right up to the tips of the ears on the cowl). While the Ledger Joker is slightly shorter (because he is hunched). So these SpruKits would be way off scale. They sound to be closer to the 4.5" height/scale, yet still fall literally short to them. These SpruKits fall between the two scales. Personally, I don't think they should be counted as 3.75/4", for "purity" sake. |

I'm curious how accurate those Amazon listings are, since other vendor sites are listing them as 4 inches. Maybe tlasjr can take some measurements of his Level 1 kits and let us know. Quote:

As far as this thread is concerned, we include any figures that are close to 1:18 scale (between 3-5" in height, usually), since different companies tend to vary on the actual scale of their figures, even between toys within the same line.

Ill tske some pics and comparrison shots tonight. They are def more model than action figure
In order to move the arms you have to pull them out of the socket, move them and pop them back in. Thats actually in the instructions. And it doesnt look like the figures are the same scale. The joker is taller than supes. |

Weird about those size comparisons. It appears that Superman could be 4", but the Joker is larger and out of scale compared to Supes.
Could these be easily modified to make them function as traditional action figures? |

Too bad. I was reallly looking forward to these kits. I think once the eyes are painted superman will look better than anything since microman superman but it just feels cheap. Definitely not for kids. I used glue and there are still trouble parts. It seems like whenever anyone tries combining action figure and model it skews.toward what that company normally makes. In this case models |

Nice pics, Goldbug! I like that Reeve head on Xavier's body. Where are the glasses from?
Also, how hard is it to pop the heads of these guys? |

The Reeve head was difficult to get off. I had to warm it up with a hair dryer. Then you can't place it fully on the Xavier body because you wouldn't have a neck. It somewhere in between. I don't have the Keaton head. However Batman's head comes of easy. I think maybe the Keaton head could work fine. |
