Sadly I have to agree but I wasn't a fan of that look from the start anyway. I'll stick with the Injustice version. Wouldn't mind the mallet though.

A little while ago I was trying to figure out what I could use to make a decent 3.75 Lex Luthor that would work with Injustice Superman and I finally found something.

I literally just put the finishing touches on it. It's not quite as big as I'd like but it should suffice until if/when they make an official one. Doubt it'll happen though. It seems like they're done with Injustice which really sucks because I wanted a Shazam.

Wow, that's great! The only suggestion I would make is to beef up his midsection somehow, but it's a really awesome Lex as-is. Pretty ingenious idea to use a Gundam.

Thanks a bunch mate. Couldn't tell you which Gundam it is but it was already the right green in color so I slapped on some purple paint and Lex's head and TA-DA there it was. The mini-gun and "Kryptonite" blade (which is just a chopped up GL movie construct) were added just for funsies.

I thought about the waist but I don't know what to do about it. He does look a little anorexic though doesn't he. I'll try and work on that.

You betcha.

It's mostly a repainted MU Apocalypse with the upper arms of an X-Men Evolution Sabretooth and a Batman & Robin Bane head.

It's too bad that when they made the Multiverse Arkham Origins Bane they didn't go with the version you fight on top of the hotel. It's so much cooler than the jacketed version.

Looks cool! I like how you used the sabertooth arms, not so bulky looking.... plus it makes his lower arms looks like gear over his arm.
Thanks for sharing

No joke, that Mr. Freeze is one of the coolest, most well done customs I've ever seen - and it's 3.75"!. That's a great use of that MU energy blast accessory, too.

Electro figure from Spider Man movie line. Ths figure doesn't have articulation on the lower arms, so added that by drilling a hole and adding articulated arms and hands. Helmet is from Star Wars Obi Wan, the space suit version. Backpack is from a 25th Barbecue figure. Only thing missing is articulated lower legs but we can't have everything

Has anyone seen or bought a MV Joker or Harley Q with face paint as good as what we were shown at the con? Maybe someone out there did some slight repaint to fix em, if so pls share!

I haven't found the pair myself, I could by em online but I'm to afraid I'll get a serious derpy face that can't be fixed.

I also would like to see someone share shots of a good looking Harley they managed to buy. Joker I am not sure about: Because the head sculpt looks nothing like what was displayed at the cons. The con version looks far more wicked cool. The release version looks gaunt.

Once again, the versions Mattel displayed at the cons:

Overall I would say I am "mildly disappointed" by these figures. Mattel dropped the ball here.

Check the official promo photos of MV Joker and Harley listed on Amazon. The faces of the figures I got and see listed on eBay look nothing like these better looking versions.

I just skimmed through the latest eBay listings for Harley and scrutinized the photos sellers took of the figure. Most of them had wonky eyes. Here's the only listing I found with eyes that *appear* to be possibly correct.

Batman Arkham Knight Origins 4" Harley Quinn Figure Joker DC Multiverse RARE NIH | eBay

So if you want this figure, you may be better off looking for it in stores so you can then carefully inspect her eyes.

I am wondering if I should contact service.mattel.com to see if they would exchange mine.

You know, when they posted the pics from the con on the site, I noticed there was 2 different jokers! Maybe the double date joker will be the better sculpted joker... Just another reason to shell out cash other than cat woman

Date night set Joker is the same as the single one.

Even Harley's hair piece seems to be somewhat thicker than the one shown at SDCC.

I noticed that but that doesn't explain where the better sculpted joker fits in... Like I said hopefully we'll see the better sculpted joker in the date night set as another reason to shell out the $$ other that cat woman

Hopefully the Harley in the Date Night set has better painted eyes. At least Catwoman is wearing goggles, so it won't be an issue with her no matter what.

It's odd that Mattel seems to be having problems with eyes recently. I wonder if they changed factories or something?

No. I saw 4 of him in Grand Junction yesterday, but my timing belt broke, so I was not in a mood to buy toys. Still not sure if I like the Arkham Origins version better than Arkham Knight version or not.

Origins is my single favorite Batman design, however if the figure is shorter than City and Knight's it will destroy it.

So Harleyn is kind of a cougar. The Joker figure is from origins and Harley is from Knight. As she was a phd when they met that would make her mid forties at least right? I thonk the figure looks great given her age.
